Abstract:
Disclosed is a peer to peer (P2P) network system in the present specification. A peer activity management server (PAMS) of the P2P network system receives inquiry whether the PAMS controls a peer from another PAMS or receives status information of the peer or service use or content of the peer from the peer or another PAMS. Further, the PAMS determines whether the peer is controlled based on the inquiry by the PAMS or updates a peer list based on the service use or content of the peer. In addition, the PAMS transmits the status information of the peer included in the peer list to an overlay management server or transmits the service use or content of the peer to a user management server.

PURPOSE: A timing information providing method using MPEG media transport (MMT) control layer signaling for synchronizing MMT package stream in an MMT hybrid delivery service and an MMT packet stream synchronizing method are provided to enable a server to recognize the position of media data corresponding to a starting point of a service required by a client from MMT media data stored in the server based on exchanged information and successively perform a transmission service for the client from the media data position. CONSTITUTION: An RMCP(Relayed Multicast Protocol) operating device(200) supplies information about other session management device(201). The session management device switches session information with the other session management device. The session management device supplies multicast agent related information to the other session management device in order to subscribe a session which is supplied from other RMCP networks. PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling peer-to-peer and a method for controlling transmission overlay are provided to enhance the transmission quality of contents by generating stable and efficient P2P(Peer-to-Peer) overlay. CONSTITUTION: A peer registration unit(210) registers plural kinds of peer information, and an overlay generating unit(220) receives an overlay generation request of desirable contents from a request peer among the plural peers. The overlay generating unit generates not only a P2P overlay based on the information of a network to which plural peers are connected but also the plural kinds of peer information. The overlay generating unit considers the P2P overlay to provide the request peer with the connection information for receiving desirable contents.

PURPOSE: A relayed mobile multicast service method with partial deployment of a mobile multicast agent is provided to expand a multicasting service region for a mobile node by relaying multicast data through a wireless casting agent of a peripheral multicasting agent network. CONSTITUTION: A transmission relay transmission is requested from a mobile node(S400), and relay transmission grant is reported to the mobile node(S401). If the service update request is not received until a certain time elapses, the information of a mobile node is removed. The transmission of the multicast data relay is stopped.

PURPOSE: A method for operating outer connected with a multicast receiving terminal is provided to monitor a multicast packet received by a certain multicast terminal of the multicast group. CONSTITUTION: Based on a group message transferred from multicast receiving nodes(RN1,RN2), a multicast group for which the multicast reception terminals subscribe is detected. A multicast packet corresponding to the multicast group is delivered from an external multicast transmission node(SN). The delivered multicast packet is delivered to the multicast reception terminals and provide to a monitoring device(130).

PURPOSE: A reliable data communications method on an overlay multicast network for easily performing a multicast data management function is provided to transmit reliable data in an overlay multicast environment by retransmitting multicast data through a core MA(Multicast Agent). CONSTITUTION: An Edge MA(130) transmitting data transmits an edge tree to a Core MA. The Edge MA transmits message data to an MA(132). The Core MA transmits data to the adjacent Core MA. The data is not forwarded to the Edge MA when the data is forwarded to a lower tree.
