Abstract: The AAL_PDU (ATM Adaptation Layer-Protocol Data Unit) generator provides fixed bit-rate video service. To provide fixed bit-rate video service in the B-ISDN, the reconstructing method that segments data format to ATM data format is provided. The system block comprises a counter circuit(1), a decoding circuit(2) and an output controlling circuit(3). The decoding circuit provides an output controlling circuit with decoded counter output signal provided from the counter circuit. The output controlling circuit drives a video data buffer and an SAR (Segmentation And Reassembly) header buffer, and initiates the counter circuit.
