Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for sensing route deviation using an open API are provided to use map information and traffic information about a moving route to a destination through the open API. CONSTITUTION: A communication unit(210) transceives data with an open gateway(140). A monitoring unit grasps a movement route about a deviation sensing service request. The monitoring unit monitors whether a user terminal deviates from the movement route. If route deviation is sensed, a deviation notifying unit(214) notifies the user terminal and a protector terminal of the deviation the open gateway.

Abstract: A location information providing service based on a public telephone and a location information providing method are provided to supply a service without restriction of a terminal as an integrated wire/wireless service. If a location information providing request command is inputted to a public telephone(110), a location information providing server(140) searches a location of a public telephone. The location information providing server transmits the location to wire/wireless terminals(120).
