PURPOSE: A constant amplitude encoding method for a code division multiplex communication system are provided to produce various diffusion gains and transmission rates by generating a constant amplitude signal instead of a multi amplitude signal. CONSTITUTION: The n bit code equal to an input signal is generated to encode a constant amplitude of a transmission signal(S10). The generated n bit code is diffused by applying an orthogonal codeword set(S20). The additional information is added to show the output characteristic of the constant amplitude(S30). The orthogonal codeword set structure is generated by using a walsh-hadamard matrix.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for managing the configuration of a wireless sensor network is provided to maintain and manages a node state continuously by reflecting to a database the response to a request of a node polling of an operation and management server. CONSTITUTION: A connection set report message transmitted from a node is received(S1), and node-related address information included in the connection set report message is stored at an internal database(S2-S5). A group ID which designates the node type among the node-related address information is checked(S6). The node-related collection information proper to the corresponding node group is required and stored at the internal database. Based on the node-related collection information, the state of nodes is displayed.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An update server for updating a sensor node, the sensor node, and a method for updating the sensor node are provided to update an execution code by transmitting small amount of data through a network. CONSTITUTION: An execution code management unit(110) manages the execution codes for sensor nodes included in a sensor network, and a rule generating unit(120) compares existing execution codes managed by the execution code management unit with the update executing codes required for updating a new function. The rule generating unit generates an update rule based on the comparison results, and a download execution unit(130) downloads the update rules created by the rule creation unit to a corresponding sensor node.

PURPOSE: A property base path set device of ad hoc network and a method thereof are provided to improve routing performance by flexibly setting the path based on the property of low power consumption ad hoc network. CONSTITUTION: A message processor unit(110) receives route search messages from each route and transmits the route setting response message through the route of being selected to the destination location. The route search messages comprise the search ID, the source address, the destination address, and the network property passing through the relay nodes and are updated. A route planning unit(120) reflects the network property included in route search messages and selects the route.

PURPOSE: An apparatus for transmitting an executable file and a sensor node is provided to reduce unnecessary power consumption by transmitting an executable file corresponding to a changed portion when transmitting the executable file depending on program change. CONSTITUTION: A calculation file generator(100) generates a calculation file including an executable file according to the program change, and a calculation file comparator(110) compares the generated calculation file with the calculation file including the executable file stored prior to the program change. A data file transmitter(120) generates a data file corresponding to the changed portion based on the comparison result.

PURPOSE: A routing path setting method and an apparatus thereof on a zigbee network for performing routing path setup in an energy efficient environment are provided to utilize a zigbee network in various fields by using a mesh routing method based on AODV(Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector). CONSTITUTION: A route request command is received(S910). The route is set up with reference to slip information of the device located in a destination device(S950). The slip information of the device is information about the low-power standby state of the device. The slip information is broadcasted to a neighbor device.

PURPOSE: A method for providing global time information in a MANET system is provided to obtain global time information at detecting event point in every mode by using only beacon signal without the transmission of the visual information. CONSTITUTION: The synchronization of the super-frame is performed by receiving a message the beacon signal including the beacon order information. According to the detection of event, the event time information producing the global time information of the event detection point is generated from the highest node gate-way node becomes. The event time information is transmitted to the host node.

A method for transferring an end-to-end data frame using virtual synchronization on a local area network and a network constituting apparatus are provided to secure service quality in the local area network without changing an existing Ethernet switch. A method for transferring an end-to-end data frame using virtual synchronization on a local area network includes the steps of: loading a virtual synchronization frame shaper for transmitting a frame through virtual synchronization between end stations(300,301,302,303) at a frame transmitting layer structure provided at the end stations(300,301,302,303) of transmitting/receiving sides passing through a plurality of Ethernet switches(322,324,326,328) in the local area network; mutually exchanging slot counters counted through the virtual synchronization frame shaper between the end stations(300,301,302,303), and synchronizing the slot counters; allocating transmitting time slots by the synchronized slot counters for transmitting the data frame between the end stations; and transmitting the data frame based on the synchronized slot counters and the allocated transmitting time slots.

An apparatus and a method of simulating for control protocol operation are provided to flexibly and easily expand a required module according to a purpose of simulation by constituting the module through simple change of a parameter or handling routine. An apparatus of simulating for control protocol operation includes a packet generating/collecting module(110), a packet forwarding module(120), and a controlling module(130). The packet generating/collecting module(110) generates a packet used for simulation and transmits the packet to a destination, or receives a simulation packet destined for itself and stores the packet. The packet forwarding module inspects the packet inputted from the packet generating/collecting module, classifies the packet according to a priority order with a pre-set scheduling method, and transmits the packet to other adjacent node. The controlling module re-processes the packet inputted from the packet generating/collecting module or the packet forwarding module, and transmits the packet to other adjacent node.
