Abstract:
Systems and methods for providing state information and remote command execution using Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP), Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) or any other protocol that provides for authentication, presence and messaging. A device may exist within a managed or unmanaged network and sign on to a managed network and provide presence information augmented with state information to provide near real-time state information to the managed network. The network may also discover remote command support in endpoint devices to command and control the devices remotely, while traversing unmanaged networks and components.
Abstract:
A respirator which has a collapsible air guide (2) and two filter supports (3), the filter supports (3) each having a first end (35)=joined to the first end (35) of the other, and a second end (36) opposite to the first end (35). The air guide (2) is in a collapsed state when second ends (36) of the filter supports (3) are adjacent to one another, and is in a deployed state when the second ends (36) are further apart. The air guide (2) may be located between the filter supports (3) when the second ends (36) of the filter supports (3) are adjacent to each other.
Abstract:
Various embodiments of reduced-size vehicles such as all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and utility vehicles (UVs) are disclosed herein. In at least some embodiments, the vehicles include frames that are wider near the front and rear sections of the vehicles than within the mid-sections of the vehicles. This, in combination with the use of shock-absorbers that are substantially vertically oriented, allows for the opening-up of large interior cavities within the front and rear sections of the vehicles within which can be positioned large front and rear internal compartments that can provide storage/carrying capacity as well as added buoyancy for the vehicle, among other things. Also, in at least some embodiments, the vehicles can include special cooling and/or exhaust systems having components that are positioned substantially within the mid-sections of the vehicles, thus further increasing the amounts of space available for the cavities/compartments within the front and rear sections of the vehicles.
Abstract:
Heated volatile dispensers are disclosed that are provided with automated dye-based use-up indicators. Multiple migrate able dyes of different colors are positioned adjacent a porous substrate. Heating of the substrate, such as a slab impregnated with an insect repellent, both causes the impregnated chemical to dispense from the slab and the indicator dyes to migrate to one or more visible positions. One dye migrates to a visible position faster than a dye of a different color. Further heating may cause one or both dyes to change color at a visible position. The dye movement imparts information about the degree of use-up of the impregnating chemical.
Abstract:
Heated volatile dispensers are disclosed that are provided with automated use-up indicators. The indicators are associated with a porous substrate. A migrateable dye is covered by meltable material adjacent the substrate. Heating of a substrate such as a slab impregnated with an insect repellent both causes the insect repellent to dispense and melts the covering. The dye then migrates to a visible surface of the substrate to indicate a degree of use. The extent of migration, and the patterns formed on the visible surface by the migrating dye, indicate the extent to which the volatile air treatment chemical has been dispensed.

A system and method are provided for generating, maintaining and rendering landing pages. The system may include a user interface configured to allow input of an identification of a plurality of fields and rendering criteria. A template defines a look and feel of a web page. A landing page generating facility is configured to receive an identification of a plurality of fields and rendering criteria from the user interface and to generate a landing page based on the template and the rendering criteria. The landing page includes the plurality of fields.

The present invention relates to improved methods for the production, isolation and purification of epothilone B. These methods include, for example, a fermentation process for the production of epothilone B, isolation via adsorption onto a resin, and subsequent purification.
Abstract:
An electrically continuous, grounded conformal EMI protective shield and methods for applying same directly to the surfaces of a printed circuit board. The EMI shield adheres and conforms to the surface of the components and printed wiring board. The shield takes the shape of the covered surfaces while adding little to the dimensions of the surfaces. The EMI shield includes low viscosity, high adherence conductive and dielectric coatings each of which can be applied in one or more layers using conventional spray techniques. The conductive coating prevents substantially all electromagnetic emissions generated by the shielded components from emanating beyond the conformal coating. The dielectric coating is initially applied to selected locations of the printed circuit board so as to be interposed between the conductive coating and the printed circuit board, preventing the conductive coating from electrically contacting selected components and printed wiring board regions. A high viscosity, non-electrically-conductive filler material is applied to printed circuit board regions that have surfaces that are cavitatious and/or which have a highly variable slope. The filler material can be used in conjunction with conformal EMI shield board level coating. The high viscosity, electrically non-conductive filler material substantially covers each cavity such that the covered cavity is inaccessible and that the covered region of the printed circuit board has a contiguous, contoured surface. A pre-manufactured non-electrically-conductive component cover can be mounted over a corresponding component and secured to the printed wiring board. The component cover and printed wiring board surround the component, forming a sealed enclosure. The component cover has a thin cross-section and an interior surface that follows closely the surface of the component. This minimizes the volume enclosed by the component cover. In addition, the exterior surface of the component cover has a low profile, and prevents the conformal EMI shield from physically contacting the covered component. Instead, the exterior surface of the component cover is coated with the EMI shield. This enables the covered component to be removed from the printed circuit board for repair, replacement or salvage without having to risk damage to the printed wiring board or component that may occur with the removal of a conformal EMI shield applied directly to the component.
