Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the maintenance and the management of software by giving a main CPU a means for knowing intrinsic numbers of software in sub CPUs. CONSTITUTION:When the main CPU3 recognizes that an operator operates an operation part 1 and selects the software version number print mode of the CPU, the CPU3 transmits a version number output command to the sub CPU6. When the sub CPU6 recognizes the mentioned command at such a time, said CPU6 reads the self software version number from a ROM5 and transmits it to the main CPU3. The main CPU3 inputs the version number from the sub CPU. Then, said CPU3 decides whether all the version numbers of the sub CPUs are inputted or not, and repeats this until all the version numbers of the sub CPUs are inputted. The main CPU3 prints out the version numbers of the mentioned sub CPUs 6 and 7 and the software version numbers of the main CPU3 read out from a ROM2 by using a recording part 4.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To send a picture data at a high speed by executing the reading of a transmission original, coding of a read picture signal and the storage of the coded signal into a buffer memory before the line with the reception side is established. CONSTITUTION:An original on an original paper feed tray 47 is carried at the read of an original. The original is irradiated by a lamp 44 at the read position P and the reflected light is formed on an image sensor 41 via a mirror 43 and a lens 42, and the image sensor 41 converts the picture into an electric signal. On the other hand, roll paper 35 is clipped by a roller 39 and a head 40 at recording and the paper is carried and the picture is formed on thermosenstive roll paper 35 by the head 40. When the recording by one page is finished, the roll paper 35 is cut by a cutter 37 and discharged on a paper discharge tray 36 by a roller 38. The entire transmission time is reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily arrange a large quantity of originals received in an unmanned condition by changing over an operation for recording a completion of a page at an end of a recording picture and an operation for operating a cutting means to prohibit the recording of the page. CONSTITUTION:When the picture information is transmitted and a recording operation is started, a control section 121 carries out a recording of the picture information of one line reproduced by a decoder 105 by a recording section 117. When the completion of a page is detected, the timer contents of a timer 119 are examined and whether the time indicated by the timer 119 corresponds to a prescribed time zone or not is decided. This time zone is the one in which the device is unmanned at night or the like and in this prescribed time zone, a pattern generator 107 is operated to output a page completion pattern and apply to the recording section 117. In the time except for the prescribed time, a cutter 123 is activated to cut the recording paper.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a high quality pattern output from a pattern reader which divides and reads a pattern, by automatically detecting a breakdown of an image pickup element and its breakdown position, and then compensating partial absence of pattern information. If the photodetector of the CCD31 breaks down, the output of the CCD31 when the all-white information is read is stored until the power source is turned off, and a correcting device is put in operation to correct absence of the information. Thus, the breakdown of the solid-state image picture device and the breakdown position are detected automatically, and the breakdown is fixed by an electric means to obtain a pattern output of high quality without complex maintenance and adjustment.
