El dispositivo incluye una porcion cargada absorbente que absorbe selectivamente el dioxido de carbono contenido en el primer gas y alimenta a la pila de combustible un segundo gas cuya concentracion de dioxido de carbono es menor que la concentracion de dioxido de carbono del primer gas.

Abstract: A controller stores image signals Sp represented as binary values for every unit of frame. The controller divides one frame into a plurality of sub-frames representing an image by image data of two gradation levels, in accordance with respective figures of the stored image signals Sp for one frame. The image data of two gradation levels for each of the sub-frames is written into capacitors Cp from a drain driver, for every row. When the image data is "1", a drive transistor is turned on. A common driver applies a voltage of a predetermined level for every sub-frame, to control the voltage applied between electrodes of an organic EL element. As a result, the organic EL element emits light with brightness which differs between sub-frames. Images of the sub-frames are visually synthesized, so that gradation is expressed in one frame.

Abstract: A power supply system using a fuel cell comprises a chemical reaction section (100) including, a evaporation section (103, 112, 114) that receives a power generation fuel and water supplied to it, heating at least the water supplied to it to evaporate it and a reaction section (105, 107) that generates a power generation gas on the basis of the steam generated by the evaporation section and the power generation fuel, a fuel supply section (P1, V1) that supplies the power generation fuel to the chemical reaction section, a water supply section (P2, V2) that supplies water to the chemical reaction section and a control section (130) that controls the operation of the system so as to stop supply of the power generation fuel from the fuel supply section to the chemical reaction section when the evaporation section is not in a condition suitable for evaporating operation. The power supply system suppresses any rise of the carbon monoxide concentration at the time of starting and stopping the system and prevents the power generation performance of the system from degrading.

Abstract: A by-product elimination device used in a power generation system includes a fuel pack provided with a fuel charged portion having a power generation fluid fuel containing hydrogen, and a powe r generation module which detachably attached to the fuel pack, the module including a reforming portion which transforms the pow er generation fuel supplied from the charged portion into first gas containing hydrogen gas and carbon dioxide, and a fuel cell which generates an electrical energy by using the hydrogen gas. The device includes an absorbent charged portion which selectively absorbs carbon dioxide contained in the first gas and feeds second gas whose carbon dioxide concentration is lowered by the first gas to the fuel cell.
