Abstract: The drug tracking system may be used to screen a subject's bodily waste and to identify a drug the subject has consumed. The system includes drug tags which comprise a one or more food dyes, each detectable in a subject's bodily waste using photographic or absorption spectroscopic analysis. The system may further include a database comprising the spectral signature of each drug tag and the unique drug associated with each drug tag. A spectral analysis obtained by analyzing a bodily waste sample may be entered into the database. The database may include instructions for comparing the spectral analysis to the spectral signature of each drug tag. The instructions may further report the unique drug associated with a drug tag which has an spectral signature matching the spectral analysis.

Abstract: Motorized window coverings are described herein. Various embodiments may include roll-up window shades, vertical blind slats, and/or horizontal blind slats. In one example, a motorized roll-up window shade is described. The shade includes a tube, a flexible panel, a fixed bracket, a rotatable bracket, bearings, a motor, and one or more batteries. The tube may have a longitudinal axis perpendicular to a transverse axis. The fixed bracket may include a first segment and a second segment connected to the tube and movably connected to the first segment. The rotatable bracket may include an articulating joint and may rotate the tube along the transverse axis. The bearings may enable rotation of the tube along the longitudinal axis. The motor and batteries may be disposed within the tube. The fixed bracket may include an opening through which the batteries may be accessed.

Abstract: The invention is a mobile winch in a bag system. A motorized winch with an internal battery is mounted on a metal plate that is attached the bottom inner portion of a bag. The metal plate may have attachment points for coupling an anchor component to fix the winch in position during a winching operation. The mobile winch in a bag system provides a way to transport and operate a winch in areas that are otherwise inaccessible by traditional vehicle-mounted winches without the necessity of separately transporting the components of the system and with reduced setup of the components for use.

Abstract: A quiet toilet apparatus disclosed. Microphones and circuitry are used to receive and detect one or more virtual point source locations and propagation directions of unwanted toilet noise. Speakers are used to create one or more synthesized wave fronts resulting in cancelation and reduction of unwanted toilet noise. The speakers, microphones and circuitry may be located within a toilet seat of a toilet or at a remote location. A user device or remote device may be connected to the noise reduction toilet apparatus for data recording, collection, reporting, and electronic noise filtering.

Abstract: We disclose a headrail for window coverings that may include an extensible end cap and a gearbox which automatically adjusts the headrail mounting. The extensible end cap may include a mounting bracket which may be connected to a piston. The piston may be connected to a floating bearing. The gearbox may include a motor-driven main gear which rotates a threaded rod. As the threaded rod rotates, an end of the threaded rod may move toward a floating bearing. The floating bearing may apply force the piston which may transmit the force to the mounting bracket. The extensible end cap may also include a sensor which detects the amount of pressure or force applied to the mounting bracket. When the sensor collects a measurement below a defined level, the motor may actuate the main gear to rotate the threaded rod and apply additional force to the mounting bracket.

Abstract: An apparatus is described herein that may generally include an air pump, a rotatable drum, a flexible hose, and first and second housings. The drum may draw in and let out the flexible hose. The pump may be connected to the flexible hose. The first housing may enclose in inner portion of the drum, and may include a first air intake. The pump may be disposed within the first housing. The second housing may surround the drum and may include a second air intake. The flexible hose may pass through the second air intake. The first intake may be aligned perpendicular to the second air intake. Alternatively, the first intake may be aligned parallel to the second air intake on a side of the drum opposite the second air intake. Sound emitted from the pump may pass over, and be absorbed by, the flexible hose within the second housing.

Abstract: A thermoforming apparatus is described herein. The apparatus may include a pressure mechanism, a thermal device, a plurality of individually actuatable pins, and/or a pin actuation mechanism. The pressure mechanism may create a force against a die surface. The thermal device may change a thermal state of a material forced by the pressure mechanism against the die surface. The plurality of individually actuatable pins may form the die surface. The pin actuation mechanism may be connected to the plurality of actuatable pins and/or may actuate the pins. This apparatus improves on prior solutions in many ways. For example, embodiments of the thermoforming apparatus may require significantly less time between different molds than previous thermoforming machines and 3D printers.

Abstract: We disclose a system which may be used to analyze data collected from a customized test strip. The customized test strip may include a set of reaction pads which are selected to address the medical needs of a specific user. The system may include a data analysis platform which analyzes the data and proposes a second customized test strip. The second test strip may comprise of a set of reaction pads that the data analysis platform selects for the user based on the analysis of the first customized test strip. The data analysis platform may propose that additional diagnostic metrics be collected from the user to assist in diagnosis. The customized test strips and the additional diagnostic metrics may be within a medical toilet.

Abstract: A vehicle is described herein that includes a body structure such as a windshield and/or a windshield frame, a compartment such as a passenger compartment, one or more body panels around the compartment, and an at least partially floating cover, such as a roof, disposed over the compartment. The floating cover includes one or more body structure mounts and an overhang extending from the body structure over the compartment to an aft portion of the compartment. Other similar embodiments include features such as support structures, support structure mounts that mount the floating cover to the support structures, and various aerodynamic features incorporated into the floating cover. For example, some embodiments include roll bars and roll bar mounts, aerodynamic arcs, and aerodynamically continuous surfaces.
