PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersion excellent in fine pigment dispersibility and its stability, an ink composition and a colored curable composition prepared by using the pigment dispersion and having clear hue and high coloring power, a curable ink composition suitable for ink jet recording, and an inkjet recording method using the ink composition. SOLUTION: The pigment dispersion contains a pigment dispersing agent and a pigment. The dispersing agent is composed of a graft polymer having a branch part, which consists of a polymer having a partial structure selected from a urea bond, a urethane bond and an aliphatic amino group in a repeating unit, and a branch part, which consists of a polymer selected from an aliphatic polyester, a poly(meth)acrylate and a polyether, in a trunk part of a polyurethane/polyurea structure.
