Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods may include a source device that generates a scene change notification in response to a movement of a camera, modifies an encoding scheme associated with the video content captured by the camera in response to the scene change notification, identifies a full-frame difference threshold, wherein scene analysis information includes frame difference data, and compares the frame difference data to an intermediate threshold that is less than the full-frame difference threshold, wherein the scene change notification is generated when the frame difference data exceeds the intermediate threshold. A sink device may obtain transport quality data associated with video content, modify an output parameter of a display based on the transport quality data, determine a view perspective of a still image containing a plurality of image slices, retrieve only a subset of the plurality of image slices based on the view perspective and decode the retrieved subset.

Abstract: Technology for a display device is described. The display device can include one or more display screens operable to show at least two display panels. The display device can include a controller. The controller can send a request for frame data from each of the at least two display panels to a source device. The controller can receive, from the source device, a same frame indication for each of the at least two display panels. The controller can provide frame data received from the source device based on the same frame indication to the at least two display panels. The same frame indication can cause the at least two display panels to synchronously display frame data received from the source device.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for synchronizing embedded display panels of mobile devices via programmable synchronization links are disclosed. An example mobile device includes a first embedded display panel, a second embedded display panel, a programmable synchronization link, a configuration manager, and a synchronization manager. The programmable synchronization link is operatively coupled to the first and second embedded display panels. The configuration manager is to configure the first embedded display panel as a slave panel, and to configure the second embedded display panel as a master panel. The synchronization manager is to synchronize the slave panel to the master panel via the programmable synchronization link.

Abstract: Technology for a display source controller is described. The display source controller can receive display pixel data from a display source. The display source controller can convert the display pixel data to display symbol data that includes a plurality of 32-bit double words (DWords). The display source controller can divide the display symbol data that includes the plurality of 32-bit DWords for a number of unidirectional serial data channels. The display source controller can process, for each unidirectional serial data channel, the display symbol data at a 32-bit DWord granularity level. The display source controller can send the display symbol data for each of the unidirectional serial data channels over a physical serial link to a display panel.
