Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for power headroom reporting in the wireless communication system, the method comprising: determining a first weight factor for the first BS and a second weigh factor for the second BS if a sum of a power headroom (PH) for the first BS or a PH for the second BS is more than a PH of activated cells of the UE; reducing a size of the PH for the first BS by using the first weight factor; and reducing a size of PH for the second BS by using the second weight factor.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for enforcing a prioritized bit rate (PBR) in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receiving a PBR and a division reference, for a radio bearer in which uplink (UL) data is transmitted through a plurality of media access control (MAC) entities, and divides the PBR to at least one MAC entity among the plurality of MAC entities according to the division reference. And, the UE generates at least one MAC protocol data unit (PDU) by applying the divided PBR to the at least one MAC entity.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for calculating an amount of data available transmission in the wireless communication system, the method comprising: receiving ratio for calculating amount of Data Available for Transmission (DAT) in a PDCP (Packet Data Convergence Protocol) entity; calculating an amount of DAT when data is arrived in the PDCP entity; and setting a first amount of DAT as the calculated amount of DAT and a second amount of DAT as 'zero', if the calculated amount of DAT is less than a threshold, wherein the first amount of DAT is for the first BS and the second amount of DAT is for the second BS.
Abstract:
There is provided a method for adjusting a transmission power. The method may comprise: classifying, by a user equipment (UE), a plurality of cells into groups, each of which includes one or more cells belonging to the same base station; determining, by the UE, a transmission power for each group; and adjusting, by the UE, the determined transmission power for each group such that a summation of transmission powers for cells included in each group is less than or equal to a maximum transmission power configured for each group.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing a random access (RA) procedure in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) establishes connection with a first node and a second node, and transmits an RA preamble to the second node. If a number of RA preamble transmissions reaches a maximum number, the UE stops uplink (UL) transmission of all cells in a group to which the second node belongs, and transmits an indication indicating that transmission of the RA preamble has failed to the first node.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method and a device for informing identification of a UE (User Equipment) in the wireless communication system, the method comprising: receiving information related to a size of data to be transmitted to or from the UE; determining whether the UE is considered as the MTC_UE (Machine Type Communication_UE) or not based on the information; and informing a network that the UE is the MTC_UE by performing the MTC_UE specific access.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a method and an apparatus used for in a wireless communication system. Specifically, the present invention is directed to a method of controlling uplink transmission and an apparatus therefore, in which the method comprises: receiving a signal including information related with an assignment of a TAG for a SCell; and considering the SCell as having no valid uplink timing if a TAT of the TAG is not running.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method of performing a cell selection at a first communication module of a user equipment in a wireless communication system. Specifically, the method includes receiving offset information from a network, measuring a cell for the cell selection, and determining whether to select the measured cell by applying the offset information to a measurement result, if a frequency on the measured cell is an unusable frequency.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for providing a multimedia broadcast and multicast service (MBMS) in a wireless communication system are disclosed. A method for receiving a multimedia broadcast and multicast service (MBMS) by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system includes obtaining a predetermined system information block (SIB) from a base station (BS), and transmitting an MBMS interest indication message to the base station (BS) only when the predetermined system information block (SIB) is obtained. The predetermined system information block (SIB) includes information related to MBMS continuity.
Abstract:
A method for processing a signal by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method comprises receiving information on at least one frequency from a network, selecting a frequency from the at least one frequency corresponding to a specific service, and transmitting, to the network, a message indicating the selected frequency. Further, the method further comprises receiving a command for performing a handover from a serving cell to a target cell providing the specific service through the selected frequency.
