Abstract: PURPOSE: To cause steam generated under a reaction when metallic hydoroxide adsorbs carbon dioxide gas to be vaporized into surrounding atmosphere through breathing holes and to prevent deterioration of a thermal conductivity by a method wherein carbon dioxide gas adsorbing agent composed of metallic hydroxide arranged at a side of the surface of an inner plate having the breathing holes in a thermal insulation wall facing against an outer plate is covered by a gas permeating type film. CONSTITUTION: To a shelf molded section 9 of an inner plate 3 having breathing holes 8 of a thermal insulating wall is fixed a carbon dioxide gas adsorbing agent 5 composed of metallic hydroxide. In addition, a gas permeating film 7 is adhered to an inner plate 3 in such a way that the inner plate 3 and the carbon dioxide gas adsorbing agent 5 are covered by the gas permeating film. With such an arrangement as above, carbon dioxide gas generated in the rigid urethane foam 4 filled in between the inner plate 3 and the outer plate 2 is easily adsorbed and removed by the carbon dioxide gas adsorbing agent 5. In addition, steam generated under an absorption reaction of carbon dioxide gas is vaporized into the surrounding atmosphere through the breathing holes 8, resulting in that it is possible to prevent a thermal conductivity of the thermal insulating material from being deteriorated.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To cause carbon dioxide gas to be moved in a thickness direction and to enable carbon dioxide gas to be easily adsorbed and removed within a short period of time by a method wherein a thermal insulating box is formed by a molded inner box containing carbon dioxide gas-adsorbing agent therein. CONSTITUTION: An inner box 7 forming a thermal insulating box 1 is made of ABS containing calcium hydroxide acting as carbon dioxide adsorbing agent. Rigid urethane foam 4 is filled between the inner box 7 and an outer box 2 to form the thermal insulating box 1. With such an arrangement, carbon dioxide gas contained in the rigid urethane foam 4 is dispersed and moved in a thickness direction of a thermal insulation wall and reaches the carbon dioxide gas adsorbing agent impregnated in the inner box 7, resulting in that it becomes possible to perform an easy adsorption and removal of carbon dioxide gas within a short period of time.
