Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a foam free of frothy voids and excellent in low-temperature strengths and heat-insulating property, by using a polyol, a polyisocyanate, a catalyst, a foam stabilizer and a specified blowing agent. CONSTITUTION:In the production of a foam from a polyol, a polyisocyanate, a catalyst, a foam stabilizer and an blowing agent, a mixture obtained by mixing monobromomonochlorodifluoromethane with dibromotetrafluoroethane at a weight ratio of 52:48-95:5 is used as said blowing agent. When the amount of monobromomonochlorodifluoromethane used is 50wt.% or below based on the total blowing agent, the expansion ratio of the foam decreases and its low-temperature stability is worsened. When the amount of monobromomonochlorodifluoromethane used is above 95wt.% based on the total blowing agent, the cells of the foam become large and the heat-insulating property is decreased.
