Abstract: A method and an apparatus for wireless communication are provided. In one configuration, an apparatus is configured to transmit a wake-up radio (WUR) signal, to determine to transmit a second signal within a SIFS after transmitting the WUR signal to increase medium reuse, and to transmit the second signal within the SIFS after transmitting the WUR signal based on the determination. The second signal may be a data, management, control, ACK, or CF-end frame to enable legacy devices that do not decode the WUR signal to avoid wasted airtime cause by EIFS after the WUR signal. In another configuration, the apparatus is configured to transmit a CTS-to-self frame, to determine to transmit a second signal within a SIFS after transmitting the CTS-to-self frame, and to transmit the second signal based on the determination. The second signal may be a WUR signal or an intermediate signal followed by a WUR signal.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus for managing data traffic in restricted target wake time (TWT) service periods (SPs). In some aspects, an access point (AP) receives a request frame from a wireless station (STA) associated with a client device via a peer-to-peer (P2P) link, the request frame indicating the STA intends to exchange P2P communications with the client device during a r-TWT SP scheduled on a wireless medium. The AP obtains a transmission opportunity (TXOP) on the wireless medium during the r-TWT SP, the request frame identifying the client device. The AP transmits a trigger frame on the wireless medium responsive to obtaining the TXOP, the trigger frame allocating a portion of the obtained TXOP for P2P communications between the STA and the client device, wherein at least one of the response frame or the trigger frame indicates a Network Allocation Vector (NAV) exception for the client device.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices, and systems that support context acquisition for seamless roaming. Some aspects more specifically relate to segmenting a packet number (PN) space into subsets that are dynamically assigned to access points (APs) associated with a station (STA). In some implementations, a first wireless device (such as a STA) may communicate with a second wireless device (such as a serving AP) using a first subset of user data context parameters (such as a group or segment of PNs) that correspond to a first index assigned to the second wireless device. If, for example, the first wireless device decides to roam to a third wireless device (such as a target AP), the first wireless device may transmit one or more packets to the third wireless device using a second subset of the user data context parameters assigned to the third wireless device.

Abstract: This disclosure provides methods, components, devices and systems for transmission opportunity (TXOP) sharing and resource allocation mechanisms in systems involving multiple peer-to-peer (P2P) sessions. Some aspects more specifically relate to how such mechanisms can facilitate multi-station (STA) TXOP sharing or STA offloading in accordance with relative resource availabilities across a set of access points (APs), or any combination thereof. In some implementations, an AP can allocate respective portions of a resource unit (RU) allocation (during a shared TXOP of the AP) to respective P2P sessions at multiple respective STAs. Additionally, or alternatively, an AP can use transmit power control to facilitate simultaneous TXOP sharing across multiple STAs. Additionally, or alternatively, first AP can offload a STA to a second AP in accordance with relative resource availabilities at the first AP and the second AP. As such, devices may achieve greater scalability for high-density P2P session deployments.

Abstract: Aspects are provided for BTM-based load balancing. Various aspects relate generally to a method of load balancing where an AP multi-link device (MLD) recommends that a non-AP MLD move to an indicated set of links of the AP MLD and operate on the indicated set of links without purging context between the AP MLD and the non-AP MLD. In some examples, if the non-AP MLD does not comply, then the non-AP MLD may face disassociation from the AP MLD. Some aspects more specifically relate to recommending that the non-AP MLD move to an indicated set of links of a different AP MLD and operate on the indicated set of links of the different AP MLD after performing a multi-link setup with the different AP MLD. In some examples, the AP MLD may then disassociate from the non-AP MLD.
