Abstract:
A novel gene (designated 101P3A11 or PHOR-1) and its encoded protein, and variants thereof, are described wherein 101P3A11 exhibits tissue specific expression in normal adult tissue, and is aberrantly expressed in the cancers listed in Table I. Consequently, 101P3A11 provides a diagnostic, prognostic, prophylactic and/or therapeutic target for cancer. The 101P3A11 gene or fragment thereof, or its encoded protein, or variants thereof, or a fragment thereof, can be used to elicit a humoral or cellular immune response; antibodies or T cells reactive with 101P3A11 can be used in active or passive immunization.
Abstract:
A novel gene (designated 184P1E2) and its encoded protein, and variants thereof, are described wherein 184P1E2 exhibits tissue specific expression in normal adult tissue, and is aberrantly expressed in the cancers listed in Table I. Consequently, 184P1E2 provides a diagnostic, prognostic, prophylactic and/or therapeutic target for cancer. The 184P1E2 gene or fragment thereof, or its encoded protein, or variants thereof, or a fragment thereof, can be used to elicit a humoral or cellular immune response; antibodies or T cells reactive with 184P1E2 can be used in active or passive immunization.
Abstract:
Aircraft floor panels where core-skin bonding is improved between honeycomb and composite face sheets (skins) by applying a nylon-based (polyamide) adhesive to the edge of the honeycomb prior to bonding. Edge coating of the honeycomb allows one to reduce panel weight without reducing the performance parameters that are required for different types of aircraft floor panels.
Abstract:
Novel genes designated and set forth in FIG. 2 and their respective encoded proteins, and variants thereof, are described wherein a gene of the invention exhibits tissue specific expression in normal adult tissue, and is aberrantly expressed in the cancers such as those listed in Table I. Consequently, of gene products of a gene of FIG. 2 provide diagnostic, prognostic, prophylactic and/or therapeutic targets for cancer. A gene of FIG. 2 or fragment thereof, its encoded protein, or variants thereof, or a fragment thereof, can be used to elicit a humoral or cellular immune response; antibodies or T cells reactive with a gene product of FIG. 2 can be used in active or passive immunization.
Abstract:
A specimen tip holder assembly for mounting a specimen tip in a transmission electron microscope (TEM) is described. The specimen tip holder assembly comprises a tip holder for supporting a specimen tip. The tip holder is coupled to an elongate support for movement in a direction substantially perpendicular to the axis of the support. An actuator is mounted to the support for causing motion of the tip holder relative to the support.
Abstract:
Described is a plumbing fixture assembly 10 for a toilet tank 14 comprising an upper portion 24 that connects with a valve 18, a lower portion 26 that is adapted for engagement with upper portion 24, and an attachment pipe 28 that connects at a first end 64 with lower portion 24 and at a distal end 66 with a supply line 16.
Abstract:
Core-skin bonding is improved between honeycomb and composite face sheets by applying a polyamide and/or rubber-containing adhesive to the edge of the honeycomb prior to bonding. Edge coating of honeycomb with a polyamide and/or rubber-containing adhesive is useful in further increasing the bond strength between honeycomb and prepreg face sheets, especially when the matrix resin of the prepreg is designed to adhere the prepreg to the honeycomb without the use of a separate structural adhesive.
Abstract:
Antibodies and molecules derived therefrom that bind to novel PSCA protein, and variants thereof, are described wherein PSCA exhibits tissue specific expression in normal adult tissue, and is aberrantly expressed in the cancers listed in Table I. Consequently, PSCA provides a diagnostic, prognostic, prophylactic and/or therapeutic target for cancer. The PSCA gene or fragment thereof, or its encoded protein, or variants thereof, or a fragment thereof, can be used to elicit a humoral or cellular immune response; antibodies or T cells reactive with PSCA can be used in active or passive immunization.
Abstract:
Circuits and methods are provided for clock adjustment. A method for clock adjustment includes receiving feedback clocks from independent ASIC modules. The method includes comparing the feedback clocks to a reference clock to generate phase measurement values. A common delay is removed from the phase measurement values to form normalized correction values. Target phase values and clock select values are selected using the normalized correction values. And, clock signals to independent ASIC modules are adjusted based on the target phase values and clock select values.
Abstract:
A machine to produce filled packages having transverse seals at the top and bottom thereof created by severing a seal area between formed packages by cutting blades the position of which can be adjusted during running of the machine to vary the heights of the transverse seals. The adjustment of seal is caused by movement of a sliding bar member which causes the chain drive of the cutting mechanism to rotate in one direction or the other to move the cutting point of the blade relative to the uncut seal between adjacent packages.
