    Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce an editing timing pulse through a simple constitution, by deciding the editing timing of a video signal recorder with the output of a counter that produces the reference signal of a phase servo circuit. CONSTITUTION:The rotary phase detection signal PG of a head drum is supplied to the set input of an FF12 via a monostable multivibrator 9, and the reference vertical synchronous signal X-VD is supplied to the reset input. Thus a phase difference pulse DPEB is delivered of Q. The external vertical synchronous signal EXTVD is supplied to the reset input R of an internal synchronous signal counter 24 via a differentiating circuit 26 and an OR gate G5. At the same time, the output of the counter 24 is supplied to a decoder 27 to produce a reset pulse (e) having the 1/2 vertical scanning period. This reset pulse is fed back to the reset input of the counter 24. Accordingly, the counter 24 is reset with the reset pulses (e) and d. The phase servo system is locked by the signal X-VD which is produced with a delay of a prescribed time from the reset position. Thus a certain synchronous relation is kept between the pule PG and the signal EXTVD.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent erroneous information from being generated in the servo- voltage to perform stable phase servo, by forming continuously the pulse width modulation signal in the measure data transfer processing of the rotary phase of the rotary magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:Counter 14A which measures the phase difference between the phase pulse, which represents the rotary phase of the rotary magnetic head, and the reference phase signal by counting prescribed clock pulses, counter 16 which receives the measured value of this counter 14A and holds the same value, circuit 18 which receives the output pulse of counter 16 generated at every rotation period to form a pulse width modulation signal corresponding to the phase difference, and circuits 20 and 9 which form the servo-voltage to control the rotary phase of the rotary magnetic head on a basis of this pulse width modulation signal are provided. The output of counter 14A is supplied to circuit 18 through switch 23 during transfer of the measured value from counter 14A to counter 16, thereby obtaining the pulse width modulation signal.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure to include guide band noise within the vertical blanking period, by decelerating the capstan motor to a given speed at the still playback mode set and stopping the motor after a given time from the time of playback of control signal. CONSTITUTION:A capstan 9 scanning a tape 1 is turned with a capstan motor 10, which is driven with a control amplifier 11. This motor 11 is fitted with a frequency generator 12, the frequency of which is fed to a stop counter 16, capstan servo circuit 15, B speed detection circuit 17 and C speed detection circuit 18. Further, when the still picture playback mode is set from normal speed run of the tape 1, the number of revolutions of the motor 10 is decelerated to a given speed with the control of the amplifier 11, and the motor 10 is stopped after a given time from the playback time of control signal recorded at a position corresponding to the video trunk recorded on the tape 1 with this given speed, to ensure to insert guide band noise into vertical blanking period.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a picture from splitting by canceling the circumferential-speed error of a drum by a correction signal obtained by detecting and processing information corresponding to the rotation of the drum. CONSTITUTION:To the lower end part of the rotation shaft of video head drum 1, magnetic member 4 which rotates synchronizing with rotary drum 1a is fitted being eccentric from the shaft, and magnetism sensing element 5 is provided corresponding to member 4. The speed of revolution of rotary drum 1a of drum 1 is detected by a speed detector, whose output signal controls motor 2 through trapezoidal-pulse generating circuit 13, sample holding circuit 14, adder 9, motor driver circuit 11, etc. Then, if unevenness of speed detection of drum 1 or torque variation of motor 2 occurs, an error signal is fed back to the adder. The sine-wave signal of magnetism sensing element 5, on the other hand, is amplified 6 and phase-shifted 7 to be equal in amplitude level to and out of phase with the error signal supplied to adder 9, and supplied as a correction signal to adder 9. Therefore, a corrected signal of the error signal appears at the output of adder 9 and is supplied to motor 2 after being amplified 10.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the quality of color signal by devising the circuit such that a signal processing circuit generating a signal corresponding to AND of an output signal of a synthesis processing circuit synthesizing an input color signal and a delay color signal subtractingly and the input color signal outputs only the color signal component with correlation to the color signal component of the input color signal as the filter output. CONSTITUTION:A signal processing circuit 3 generates a signal COUT corresponding to AND between an input color signal CIN and an output signal CSUB of a synthesis processing circuit 2 synthesizing subtractingly the input color signal CIN and a 1H delay color signal CDL as a filter output. The signal processing circuit 3 outputs the output color signal COUT formed by the color signal component only with correlation with the color signal component of the input color signal CIN as the filter output. Thus, the production of color mis-alignment and color blur is reduced to keep the color signal at high quality.
