    Abstract: PURPOSE:To satisfactorily hold the original freshness of an article to be packaged and to package it by composing the package of an electret material having charges polarized in different polarities on the front and rear faces coated with or kneaded with a substance having a specific function. CONSTITUTION:A packaging material is coated or kneaded with substance having specific function, and composed of an electret material having charges polarized in different polarities on both front and rear faces thereof. Since the packaging material formed of such electret material and imparted with the specific function generates an electric field therearound by its electret effect to operate an electric stimulus at an article to be packaged, the specific function is satisfactorily performed simultaneously by imparting the specific functions thereto to hold the freshness of the article to be packaged, and to suppress the growth of bacteria, mould, etc. Here, the substance having the specific function is not particularly limited, but includes substance which has chemical or physical function.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a laminate made into an electret having high surface charge density by collecting fibers transported by a fluid as a structural layer of nonwoven fabric on a sheet of substrate layer in an electric field between an impressed electrode and an earthed electrode. CONSTITUTION:Fibers 5 subjected to melt blowing by a melt blow spinneret 4 are transported by a fluid such as air flow to an electric field 9 5 having >=1KV/cm intensity of electric field formed between an impressed electrode 3 and an earthed electrode 1. On the other hand, a sheet 7 of substrate layer is moved in a state of the sheet in contact with the surface of the continuously rotatable earthed electrode 1, the fibers made into electret are collected on the surface of the sheet of substrate sheet as a structural layer of nonwoven fabric in the electric field 9 to give a laminate 8 of nonwoven fabric made into electret having high surface charge density having excellent electret performance.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to stably maintain electric charge for a long period of time by a method wherein a specific stabilizer is blended, and especially, the quantity of high trap charge is maintained on the side of high temperature. CONSTITUTION:At least a kind of stabilizer, selected from hindered amine, nitrogen-containing hindered phenol, metallic salt of hindered phenol, phenol, sulfur, and phosphorus stabilizers of 0.01 pts.wt. or more and 2.00 pts.wt. or less is blended for the polypropylene of 100 pts.wt. having the Mw/Mn ratio (Mw is weight average of molecular weight, and Mn is number-average of molecular weight). This material becomes to maintain high trap charge quantity on the side of the high-temperature by conducting an electlet treatment on the molded body after molding. As a result, electric charge can be retained for along period in a stable manner.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To give an electret material multifunctional characteristic without impairing the electret characteristic by electrically attracting a chemically or physically acting material to the surface of an electret material having >=5X10 C/cm surface charge density. CONSTITUTION:A powdery or misty chemically or physically acting material such as a sterilizer, deodorant, odor eliminating agent, antimold, aromatics, insecticide, magnet, temp.-sensitive discoloring material, etc., is attracted electrically to the surface of an electret material having >=5X10 C/cm surface charge density made of melt-blown nonwoven fabric of polypropylene fiber, etc. By this constitution, several plural kinds of functions are imparted to an electret material leaving effective electret characteristic unimpaired since adhesives are not used in the present invention as in conventional inventions.

At that time, as substances to be collected such as dust and the like contained in the fluid are collected mechanically by the electret fibrous sheet 3 and simultaneously adsorbed and collected by static force, substances such as dust and the like, once collected, are not likely to drop off or scatter over again. Further, by laminating a number of electret films 2 and sheets 3 alternately, the shape of the element 1 can be stabilized.

CONSTITUTION:Electret nonwoven fabrics 3 of rough structure having a low apparent density are used. The apparent density is preferably controlled to , and the surface density of electric charge must be adjusted to >=1X10 c/cm . The filter paper 2 of dense structure having 150g/m amt. and >=0.3g/cm apparent density is used. When the materials are laminated, inductive force is generated in the component fibers of the filter paper by the external electric force of the electret nonwoven fabrics, and the surface density of electric charge on the surface is preferably controlled to >=2X10 c/cm .
