    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the title system equipped with a means to control, through a heating means, the temperature of the yarn contact surface at the yarn inlet of a treatment cylinder for traveling yarn to prevent drain development at the inlet. CONSTITUTION:An introduction guide 14 having an opening 15 is provided at the yarn inlet 6 of a heat treatment cylinder 10, a heating means such as cast heater or steam heater is contained therein, and the temperature of its external surface is detected using a thermocouple 46, thus controlling the yarn contact surface at said guide 14, at a temperature not lower than the dew point of the heating steam, to a temperature below the melting point of a yarn 1 using a control means 45 such as a temperature controller.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable stable heat-treatment of a yarn over a long period by placing an orifice between an opening of a hot-fluid ejection nozzle and a hot- fluid inlet port. CONSTITUTION:An orifice 12 is placed between the opening 11 of a hot-fluid ejection nozzle 10 placed in a treating cylinder 1 surrounding a moving yarn and a hot-fluid inlet port 28 connected to the opening of the nozzle 10. The complicated flow control of the hot fluid necessary to perform on every opening and closure of a door can be achieved by the adjustment of the supplying pres sure of the hot fluid at one point or the exchange of an orifice. Accordingly, the adjusting work in each heat-treatment means on every opening operation of the door becomes unnecessary by the use of the apparatus.
