Abstract:
A system, method and apparatus are provided for generating (98) a sandcastle signal in a television signal receiver (90), and utilizing the sandcastle signal during television signal processing. In one form, the sandcastle signal is generated by subtracting a separated synchronization signal of a television signal from a deflection retrace signal of the television signal receiver. IN another form, the sandcastle signal is generated in a television and includes subtracting a separated synchronization pulse from a horizontal flyback pulse, a vertical retrace pulse, or composite pulse formed by summation of a horizontal flyback pulse and a vertical retrace pulse. The sandcastle signal may be utilized by the television signal receiver (90) during a function of the television signal receiver (90), such as during a channel change.
Abstract:
The present invention provides hats with attachment assemblies allowing them to be detachably secured in an exterior-side out configuration to a belt of medium width worn around the wearer's waist, without requiring the hats to be inverted, reversed, or folded in a complex fashion, and without any need for pockets, linings, zippers or the like. The hats may also be provided with retention members for holding the hats in a simple folded configuration when carried on a belt.
Abstract:
A molded headgear (50) formed from a laminated combination of a first, outer layer (60), a second, central layer (70) and a third, inner layer (80) of material relative to a wearer, said laminated combination being molded into a first shape (90) adapted to conform to a human head. The molded headgear (50) is flexible, pliable, bendable and resilient and springs back to its original shape once folded and released.
Abstract:
A combined tie-on bonnet and eyeshade (10) having a shade member (12) with ties (16, 18) for securing to a wearer's head, with the shade (12) comprising a fabric covered plastic material that is relatively wide throughout its curved length to provide shade for the front and sides of a wearer's face, and which shade support (14) and tie members (16, 18) all lay flat when not in use, and being rollable into a compact package for being carried, and which bonnet (10) returns to its original substantially flat condition upon being unrolled.
Abstract:
The hat (2), made from a supple and foldable material, comprises a reversible pocket (5) made in said hat, into which the hat can be folded and stored when not in use.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hat provided with internal reversible pocket with zipper included in the lining near one of the crown sides, it being provided that, once turned inside out, the pocket can contain the entire hat suitably folded.
Abstract:
Un couvre-chef (10) pour la tête tel qu'un chapeau, une casquette ou une visière est pourvu de moyens (5) permettant de ranger et transformer ce couvre-chef en une unité compacte.
Abstract:
A folding hat formed from sheet material, including a crown and a brim, wherein the brim is attached to the crown, and a bottom rim portion of the crown imparts shaping to the brim. In one form, an upper surface of the crown is indented, and the bottom rim portion of the crown supports the brim in a generally continuous curve whereby an upper surface of the brim is curved from one edge of the brim to an opposite edge of the brim.
Abstract:
A hood (10), for providing protection to a wearer's head, comprises a flexible skin (12) attached to a foldable frame (14, 16, 18, 44, 50, 52, 64) which is unfoldable to a first position where the flexible skin (12) surrounds the head of the wearer but is spaced therefrom to avoid contact with makeup, dressed hair, medical appliances and the like. The foldable frame (14, 16, 18, 44, 50, 52, 64) is foldable to a second position where the foldable frame (14, 16, 18, 44, 50, 52, 64) and the flexible skin (12) are disposed against the back of the wearer. When in the second position, the foldable frame (14, 16, 18, 44, 50, 52, 64) can be further folded to a stable reversible flexed position and stored with an zip pocket or pouch (58) with the flexible skin (12). The frame (14, 16, 18, 44, 50, 52, 64) can be permanently or removably attached to a garment (24). The frame (14, 16, 18, 44, 50, 52) can be pivoted from position to position on a hinge (20) on either side of the collar of a garment. The flexible skin (12) can be replaceable.
