Various embodiments of a point-of-care hygiene dispenser and an electronic hand hygiene event monitoring system are disclosed. One embodiment is directed to point-of-care dispenser and a corresponding electronic monitoring system, wherein the point-of-care dispenser is movable between predetermined zones of interest. Another embodiment is directed to a secure point-of-care dispenser having corresponding dispenser cover and main body interlocks. A still further embodiment is directed to point-of-care dispensing system comprising a point-of-care dispenser having a dispenser cover and a main body, a locking mechanism configured to secure the dispenser covers with the main body in a closed condition, and a docking unit configured for mounting with the point-of-care dispenser.

One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for providing power and/or communication to a device, such as a dispenser, a flush valve of a bathroom device, a hygiene opportunity measurement device, a hands free faucet, etc. For example, a mounting system comprises a mounting plate that may attach to a structure, such as a wall. The mounting plate may comprise a mounting connector that may be configured to mate with a device connector of the device to establish a connection. Power may be provided to the device through the connection. A communication may be provided for the device through the connection. For example, the device may send current device statuses, usage metrics, and/or other information to a remote source. The remote source may send instructions, data collection requests, functionality changes, and/or other information to the device.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for mounting an object onto a surface (6), comprising a surface-mountable plate (1) and a reclosable fastening system, wherein a first part (8) of the reclosable fastening system is attached to the surface-mountable plate and a corresponding part of the reclosable fastening system is attachable to an object to be mounted on the surface. In one embodiment, the invention comprises a plastic moulded attachment that fits onto a bathroom wall, tiled or untilled, by means of an adhesive pad. Within the moulding are two protrusions (2) elevated from the centre. Inserted into the rear of the attachment is a plastic plug comprising a round hook disk of a hook and loop system, which will allow attachment of a shower gel or shampoo bottle (4) onto the front of the attachment by means of attaching a round loop disk (14) onto the bottle area and marrying up the hook and loop disks.

A base component for loading, hanging or supporting objects has a connecting rod (2) connected with a fixed base (1) and a cover (3) which sleeves the connecting rod (2) and covers the fixed base (1). The fixed base (1) is connected with the connecting rod (2) by a linear guide pair. The linear guide pair is closed for avoiding digression after the fixed base (1) is covered by the cover (3). The base component is simple in structure and convenient to install and use, because it allows changing loaded objects rapidly without disassembling the fixed base (1).

A dispenser (1) for disposable hygienic articles such as wipes or towels in stacks or rolls, or soap, comprises a clamp suitable for securing the dispenser (1) to a supporting structure (T) such as the edge of a shelf or a table. The clamp including a stationary clamping part (8) for engaging one side of the supporting structure, a movable clamping part (4) for engaging an opposite side of the supporting structure, and means for urging the clamping parts (8, 4) towards each other so as to tighten the clamp about the supporting structure (T). The stationary (8) and the movable clamping part (4) each have a clamping face (18, 14), and a spacing between the clamping faces (18, 14) of the stationary clamping part (8) and the movable clamping part (4) is variable so as to adapt the clamp to supporting structures (T) of different thicknesses.
