Abstract:
The present invention relates to a portable spray for self-defense, which is used for self-protection in emergencies. In particular, the portable spray for self-defense uses a tear liquid charging pipe formed of a pipe body which is long and flexible, in a compression injection method, in order to have a compact case and be manufactured into various designs. The existing spray for self-defense has a pipe-shaped intake pipe which is connected with a spray nozzle for spraying the tear liquid charged in a case. Such spray has problems where the jetting structure thereof always sprays at a home position and where the charged tear liquid is not fully sprayed. Thus, recently suggested is to spray a tear liquid using compression power through generating vacuum inside a storage container where the tear liquid is charged by pressing a button body. However, the problem of the suggestion is that users feel uncomfortable and incompatible to carry the spray because the design of the spray for self-defense is limited due to a storage container thereof. Therefore, for the portable spray for self-defense prepared by the present invention, a charging pipe formed of a long and flexible pipe body in order to store a tear liquid is installed inside a case not to be entangled, a vacuum pump operating body is installed at one side of the charging pipe in order to be interlocked with a button body where a spray hole is formed, and a cap is included at the other side for sealing. The tear liquid charged in the charging pipe can be sprayed using compression through generating vacuum by pressing a button body, and a case can be manufactured into various designs at the same time.

The adapter (14) includes a cage (60) for holding the paint can (12, 12A, 12B, 12C), a cap (62) that connects the cage (60) to the handheld spray device (10), and a gasket (64) that seals the open upper end of the paint can (12, 12A, 12B, 12C) to the cap (62). The adapter (14) may also include a suction tube extension 66 that is connectable between the pump inlet (52) and the suction tube (54) of the spray device (10).

The present disclosure generally relates to a sprayer (102) for a fluid delivery system (100). In one example, a sprayer (102) for a fluid delivery system (100) is provided. The sprayer (102) includes a main body (302) having a handle (211) and a trigger (110; 210). The sprayer (102) also includes a spray head (303) having a fluid input for receiving fluid material and a fluid output (212) for spraying the fluid material. The spray head (303) is removably couplable to the main body (302) by rotating the spray head (303) with respect to the main body (302) to engage a connection component (307) of the spray head (303) to a corresponding connection component (312) of the main body (302). The sprayer (102) also includes a spray head locking mechanism (322) on the main body (302) that extends to engage a portion of the spray head (303).
