Abstract: PURPOSE:To lengthen the life of a belt and to prevent a trouble by providing a flexible sheet in such a manner as to rotate round the vertical shaft on the lower portion and an extension portion of a conveyer at the end portion of the belt conveyer. CONSTITUTION:At the end portion of a belt conveyer 5, support boards 1, 2 are provided on the lower portion and an extension portion, respectively, and a flexible sheet 3 is disposed on each of the boards in such a manner as to rotate round a vertical shaft 4. In this case, the flexible sheet 3 is constructed in such a manner as to rotate smoothly by adopting a slide system, a fluid film system, a rotor contact system or the like. In this arrangement, when a work is received on the flexible sheet 3 and turned to a position of a conveyer belt to take over the work, the sheet 3 turns and enters below the conveyer belt, so that the work is transferred onto the conveyer belt. In this arrangement, the life of a belt can be lengthened, and the constitution is simple to decrease a trouble.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a device, to reduce the device in size and to simplify coupling and tension control operations by providing a device for controlling the tension of a circular belt used in a bucket elevator or the like between the end portions of the belt. CONSTITUTION:A rotating roller body 1 has a concave-convex surface 2 fixed by contact friction of a belt surface on the peripheral surface thereof, and a belt clamping plate 5 is fixed to the peripheral surface of the roller body 1 through a suitable belt fitting gap 4. A pivotal handle 8 including a ratchet mechanism 7 is supported on a rotary shaft 6 of the roller body 1, and one belt end portion 11 is secured to fixing means. The other belt end portion is inserted in the above belt fitting gap 4 to be clamped by the belt clamping plate 5 and the concave-convex surface 2 of the rotating roller body 1. As occasion demands, the pivotal handle 8 is operated to rotate the rotating roller 1, thereby to control the tension of a circular belt 10.
