    Abstract: PURPOSE: A system for treating river water using an artificial waterway is provided to improve the efficiency of oxidization by increasing the introducing path of natural oxidizing water. CONSTITUTION: A system for treating river water includes an artificial waterway(10), a water taking well(20), an injecting well(30), a water quality monitoring unit(40), and an oxygen injecting unit(50). The oxygen injecting unit injects oxidizing water of high oxygen concentration into the injecting well which is arranged around the water taking well. According to the monitoring result of the water quality monitoring unit, the injecting point and the injecting amount of the oxidizing water are controlled.

    Abstract: A technology for simultaneously preparing an environmental catalyst material and a potassium chloride solution from a waste pickling solution of steel more simply, a technology that can use an inexpensive material as a neutralizer of the waste pickling solution of steel, and proper application conditions that can improve the application efficiency of the prepared environmental catalyst material are provided. A method for simultaneous preparation of an environmental catalyst material and potassium chloride from a waste pickling solution of steel comprises: a first step of performing neutralization/oxidation reaction of the waste pickling solution of steel using potassium hydroxide as a neutralizer; a second step of finishing the neutralization/oxidation reaction when at least one of a reaction temperature or 60 deg.C or more, a pH of 9 or more and an ORP(oxidation-reduction potential) of 900 or more reaches a predetermined value in the neutralization/oxidation reaction; and a third step of filtering a product of the reaction, wherein a ratio of the neutralizer to the waste pickling solution of steel is 32% or more. The waste pickling solution of steel includes at least hydrochloric acid and calcium, and the environmental catalyst material is iron hydroxide. The prepared environmental catalyst material is reacted with benzene at 200 deg.C or more and is used for decomposing the benzene.
