Abstract:
There is disclosed floor panels provided with a mechanical locking system for vertical and/or horizontal locking of a first edge (1) and a second edge (1') of adjacent floor panels comprising a plastic wear layer (3) and one or several plastic core layers (5a, 5b). One plastic core layer (5b) comprises several essentially vertical flexing grooves (19) with a vertical extension of at least about one third of a core thickness of the plastic core layer (5b).
Abstract:
Building panels, especially floor panels are shown, which are provided with a locking system including several separate strip parts connected to the panel edge.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A plate product for finishing a floor or wall is disclosed. The plate product includes a natural-stone surface plate which has a predetermined thickness and is cut to have a predetermined length and width. A reinforcing plate is cut to have a length and width corresponding to those of the natural-stone surface plate and attached to the lower surface of the surface plate. A base plate is cut to have a length and width which are larger than those of the natural-stone surface plate and attached to the lower surface of the reinforcing plate. The upper layer part of the base plate having a predetermined thickness is pushed horizontally at one lengthwise side surface and one widthwise end surface, and the lower layer part having a remaining thickness is pushed horizontally at the other lengthwise side surface and the other widthwise end surface.
Abstract:
Building panels provided with a locking system for vertical and horizontal locking of a first edge and a second edge of adjacent panels. The locking system includes a displaceable tongue at least partly arranged in a displacement groove, a tongue groove, a cavity provided in a strip at the first edge, and a protrusion extending downwards at the second edge. The displaceable tongue is arranged to be displaced at least partly into the tongue groove during locking, and wherein the protrusion is arranged to be located in least a portion of the cavity when the panels are locked vertically and horizontally.
Abstract:
A lightweight universal panel mat made of plastic or elastomeric material and having a first section that provides a relatively flat, textured or structured top surface to facilitate movement over the upper surface and a second section having geometry that includes a plurality of cells having top surfaces that support the first section. The mats also include first, second, third and fourth sides forming a perimeter of the mat, wherein the first and second sides include upper structures having a sloped lower surface and the third and fourth sides include lower structures having sloped upper surfaces. The sloped surfaces are configured to allow for overlapping with sloped surfaces other like mats for interlocking therewith while forming a generally flat continuous top and bottom surface of the overlapped mats. The mats may be interlocked by a fastening member which fits in aligned openings of the adjacent mats for connection therewith.
Abstract:
Modular floor tiles and modular floor systems are described herein. A floor tile system includes a modular floor tile and a plurality of resilient support assemblies. The modular floor tile includes a top surface layer having a top surface and a bottom surface and a plurality of rigid support portions extending from the bottom surface. The resilient support assemblies are supported against the bottom surface and include an outer resilient support portion having a hollow interior, and an inner resilient support portion positioned centrally relative to the outer resilient support portion.

Abstract:
Interlocking panels have a top portion and side edges. Multiple panels are interlocked together mechanically along the side edges by locking features. The top portion includes a substantially planar top surface, side edges, and interlocking features. The bottom support structure is made of a shock absorption material that fits under the substantially planar top surface, thereby providing support and cushioning to the substantially planar top surface. The locking features include, for example, alternating upward/downward facing steps or key/key receivers to hold adjacent interlocking panels to each other.
Abstract:
A floating floor system and a floor panel and method for use with the same that includes an improved mechanical interlock system. The mechanical interlock system allows laterally adjacent floor panels that are mechanically interlocked to slide relative to one another a predetermined distance in a longitudinal direction, while prohibiting relative translation in the vertical and transverse directions. In one embodiment, the predetermined distance eliminates the need for precision cuts during installation, thereby making installation fast and easy. In a further embodiment, the invention optimizes the floor panels (and floating floor system.) to balance ease of installation and horizontal locking strength between laterally adjacent floor panels.
