Abstract:
Various insulation panels and systems are disclosed herein. In one example, a surface of an insulation panel is curved to match a curved structure. A plurality of magnets attached to the insulation panel are flush with the surface of the insulation panel within a plurality of holes. A cap plate is attached to a respective magnet between the respective magnet and the insulation panel. The cap plate affects a magnetic field of the respective magnet to aid magnetic connection of the respective magnet to the curved structure. A paper sheet covers the surface of the insulation panel and the plurality of magnets.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a building system comprising at least one profile having a bottom and two side walls defining an opening in the profile, and at least one bracket attachable to said profile, wherein the side walls and bottom of the profile form a dovetailed profile opening where the profile side walls hereby form an angle of less than 90° with the profile bottom, and wherein the bracket comprises flexible side engagement members that are adapted to be biased against the side walls of the profile for mounting the bracket therein.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fastening system for connecting mats. In one embodiment, the fastening system may include one or more features such as a hook and loop fastening system, a projection and trench fastening system, retainer and a tension strip securing system, and/or magnets to secure mats in place.
Abstract:
A self-locking paneling system is provided and includes: a panel defining a void therein and a pin positioned within the void; another structure configured to connect with the panel, the other structure comprising a receptacle; and a magnet positioned on at least one of the receptacle and the pin. When the panel and the other structure are positioned together, the pin is configured to move from a retracted position from within the void to an extended position to engage the receptacle using magnetic force produced by the magnet. The self- locking paneling system can be used for raised-flooring systems.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A dance floor of assemblable square sections (20) that are held together magnetically and are aligned by male/female couplers (27, 28, 30, 49) and ramp members (20, 21, 51, 52) attachable to the outer perimeter of the assembled square sections.
Abstract:
A flooring system combines a dimensionally stabilized sub-floor laminate with a dimensionally stabilized tile laminate, the sub-floor laminate and the tile laminate being held together by magnetic attraction. In one embodiment one or other of the laminates is magnetic, and the other has a ferromagnetic engagement sheet. In another embodiment, a magnetic intermediate sheet is placed between ferromagnetic strata of the two laminates. The tile laminate may include ceramic tiles, which may be glass or porcelain. Those tiles are substantially rigid. They have flat ground edges to provide abutting matching fit with adjacent tiles. On assembly, neither mortar nor grouting is employed. The sub-floor has pre-defined mounting hardware accommodations that permit the fasteners not to interfere with the flatness and fit-up of the laminates.
Abstract:
Building panels (1, 1′) are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system having tongue (30) of magnetic material that could be locked vertically by a magnetic field. And, a tongue including magnetic material and adapted for being received in a sidewardly open groove of a floor panel, wherein the tongue includes magnetic powder or particles.
Abstract:
A buckle-connecting multifunctional decorative board, which can be applied on indoor ground, outdoor roof, or walls, comprises buckles provided at two sides thereof, and a tube-like chamber. The buckles simplify assembling of the decorative boards. The tube-like chamber receives a pipe or a cable. Therefore, a plurality of assembling operations can be finished at once to save construction time. The buckle-connecting multifunctional decorative board has functions of adjusting indoor temperature, receiving the pipe, melting snow on the roof, and heating water. The buckle-connecting multifunctional decorative board can be applied widely.
