Abstract:
Provided is a biomass micron fuel high-temperature cleaning and combustion method based on adiabatic combustion conditions, comprising: (a) in entirely sealed form, a biomass micron fuel is filled, handled, and transported, and delivered via a pipe to an industrial furnace; (b) the biomass micron fuel is premixed with air to form a dust cloud in fluid form; (c) the premixed fluid dust cloud is sprayed, via a fuel nozzle, into the adiabatic combustion chamber (1) arranged in the furnace; the energy of the biomass fuel having a relatively low energy density is accumulated in the closed heat storage space opposite the combustion chamber, and the closed storage space performs ultra-high-temperature combustion; (d) during the process of combustion, steam is added to the adiabatic combustion chamber (1).
Abstract:
The invention relates to an indirect heating system in which a solid fuel circulates in the form of particles. The inventive system comprises a grinding station, a furnace (7), at least one intermediate silo, a separator, at least one cyclone and, optionally, a gas recirculation fan. The invention is characterised in that a dust extractor (10) captures the finest particles which are subsequently introduced into the furnace (7) by means of at least one specific conduit (52) and burnt by at least one specific burner (71). The aforementioned ultra-fine particles are then stored in a specific silo (10), dosed into a feeding device (61), mixed in well defined proportions with hot air and conveyed to the specific burner (71) through the specific conduit (52).

Abstract:
A classifier is provided with: a housing constituted so as to take in air from the bottom in an outer peripheral area of an inner space; a flow correcting unit provided on the inside wall surface of the housing and constituted so as to change the direction of the airflow toward the center axis side of the housing; and a ring shaped rotating unit provided rotatably in an inner peripheral area positioned on the inner peripheral side of the outer peripheral area in the inner space of the housing and constituted so as to classify particles accompanying the airflow. The ring shaped rotating unit has a plurality of rotating blades arranged and spaced around the axis of rotation of the ring shaped rotating unit. The external form of the ring shaped rotating unit formed by the plurality of rotating blades in a side view of the ring shaped rotating unit has an angle ¸ of 75° or less formed by the external shape of the ring shaped rotating unit with respect to a line extending from the ring shaped rotating unit in a horizontal direction toward the outside in the radial direction.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of fossil fuel combustion arrangement. It relates in particular to a fuel distribution assembly for equal and homogenous pulverized fuel distribution in pulverized fuel conduits throughout. It also relates to a system for providing an equal and homogenous pulverized fuel distribution.
Abstract:
According to a method for drying fuels in the form of dust, particularly to be fed to a gasification process, such as coal, petroleum coke, biological waste, or the like, wherein the fuel (1) is crushed in a mill (2) and fed to a filter/separator (3) by means of a propellant and drying gas, and at least part of the propellant/drying gas in the circuit is returned to the mill (2) after heating, the known disadvantages are not only to be avoided, but particularly a cost-effective milling and drying method and a corresponding system are to be provided, having low emissions and a low inert gas requirement. This is achieved according to the method in that part of the propellant/drying gas flow in cooled down and dehumidified in a spray tower (6), or the like, wherein part of the dried gas exiting the spray tower is fed to the environment and/or a firing process, and the other part is returned to the propellant/drying gas flow.
Abstract:
A fossil-fuel-fired system, which includes an emissions-control-agent dispenser, a furnace, an emissions monitor and, optionally, a controller, is disclosed. The emissions-control-agent dispenser provides a prescribed amount of organic-emissions-control agent, such as, for example, an opacity-control agent to the fossil-fuel-fired system. The furnace includes an exhaust communicating with the atmosphere. The emissions monitor is capable of measuring at least one property of the flue-gas communicated through the exhaust to the atmosphere. For example, when an organic-emissions-control agent is an opacity-control agent, the emissions monitor has the capability of at least measuring opacity. When included, the controller communicates with at least the emissions-control-agent dispenser and the emissions monitor.
Abstract:
An apparatus for separating coarse particles from a stream of gas entrained with a mixture of coarse and fine particles includes an outer casing and an inner casing configured to define a passageway therebetween through which the stream of gas and particles can flow substantially upwardly, a plurality of angled vanes for imparting a rotational flow to the stream of gas and particles as the stream passes from the passageway to within the inner casing in order to separate the coarse particles from the stream, a plurality of outlets for discharging the stream of gas and fine particles, and at least one distribution vane pivotably mounted with respect to the outlets for controlling the distribution of fine particles among the various outlets by affecting the rotational flow of the stream of gas and fine particles.
