Abstract:
In an optical beam scanning apparatus and an image forming apparatus equipped with the optical beam scanning apparatus of the present invention, a holder base is screwed to an optical housing, a holder holds a light source, and a laser drive board is screwed to the holder. Rotary adjustment of the holder about the optical axis of the light source is performed with respect to the holder base, and the holder is fixed to the holder base. According to the optical beam scanning apparatus and the image forming apparatus equipped with the optical beam scanning apparatus of the present invention, it is possible to perform rotary adjustment of the light source about the optical axis with ease even in a small space.
Abstract:
Provided are a scanning module and an image reading apparatus having the same. An alignment unit that can align positions of an image sensor and its tilt angles with regard to five degrees of freedom when a coupling position of an alignment member to a frame and a coupling position of a base plate to the alignment member are controlled, is provided, the image sensor can be aligned regardless of whether or not the production of the scanning module is completed, an alignment process is facilitated, and a manufacturing cost is reduce.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a scanning module of an image scanner. The scanning module has plural reflective mirrors. The position of one reflective mirror is adjusted by two screws to adjust a light reflective angle of the mirror.
Abstract:
In a line head, a plurality of light emitters are arrayed on a substrate in a first direction. Each of the light emitters is operable to emit a light beam. In a rod lens array, a plurality of rod lenses are arrayed in the first direction, and each of the rod lenses is adapted to focus the light beam emitted from an associated one of the light emitters onto a target surface. The substrate and the rod lens array are attached to a holder elongated in the first direction. Positioning members are provided at both end portions of the holder in the first direction. A relative position between the substrate and at least one of the positioning members is variable in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction.
Abstract:
An optical scanner includes a light source modulated based on image data, an optical deflection and scanning part deflecting a light beam emitted from the light source, and a scanning and imaging optical system condensing the deflected light beam toward a scanning surface so as to form a light spot optically scanning the scanning surface. The effective scanning region of the scanning surface is divided into a plurality of regions according to a scanning line curving characteristic. Suitable image data for optically scanning the divided regions are selected from image data of a plurality of image lines every time the light spot optically scans the effective scanning region, so that the image data of each of the image lines is written with scanning line curving being corrected.

Abstract:
Disclosed is an adjustable fixing device of a CCD plate comprising at least a central supporter and a mask device. The central supporter is made of non-transparency material. The mask device and the central supporter are approximately combined by a supporting device. The mask device and the central supporter are moved with respect to one another in a traveling range. An adhesive agent is filled to the place between the mask device and the central supporter for combining the mask device and the central supporter in a fixing position in the traveling range. Thereby, the central supporter is made of non-transparency material without needing to be performed with light shield process or installed with light shield element for effectively reducing cost. A preferred guiding structure is formed between the central supporter and the mask device for guiding the central supporter and the mask device so that they may move steadily. A larger adhesive area is formed between the central supporter and the mask device so that the central supporter and the mask device are more steadily combined.
Abstract:
A multiple image station printer system comprising a first imaging station and a second imaging station. The first imaging station can comprise a laser raster output scanner imager. The second station is adapted to be adjusted in order to output an image that matches an image bow that is present in an image produced by the first imaging station.
Abstract:
A light projection unit includes a substrate, a plurality of light emitting elements arrayed on the substrate in a main scanning direction and including light emitting surfaces, a light guide facing the light emitting surfaces to direct light projected from the light emitting elements onto an illumination target and including a first positioning portion, and a holder including a second positioning portion that engages the first positioning portion of the light guide to position the light guide on the holder. The first positioning portion of the light guide is positioned between centers of light emission of adjacent light emitting elements in the main scanning direction of the substrate when the first positioning portion engages the second positioning portion of the holder.
Abstract:
A fixture structure is disclosed that is able to independently adjust relative positions of constituent components in different directions and able to reduce workload of the relative position adjustment. The fixture structure includes plural members fixed with each other by screws, a first adjustment unit for adjusting relative positions of two or more of the members in a first direction and arranged on surfaces of the two or more members parallel to the first direction, and a second adjustment unit for adjusting relative positions of two of more of the members in a second direction intersecting with the first direction and arranged on surfaces of the two or more members parallel to the second direction.
