Abstract:
Photography mode setting information is transferred by transmitting from a first digital camera 10 certain photography mode setting information set in this first digital camera 10 through a communications means, such as a USB cable 30, and receiving the photography mode setting information transmitted from the first digital camera 10 with a second digital camera 20. Prior to this transfer, by way of the first digital camera 10 or the second digital camera 20, the model type information of the other digital camera is obtained, and the photography mode setting information set in the first digital camera 10 is changed (converted) so that the setting information is appropriate for the second digital camera 20.
Abstract:
A method for viewing digital still photographs is provided. The method including: inputting at least one digital data file representing a digital still photograph, the at least one digital data file having at least one of a time and location stamp indicating a time when the photograph was taken or a location where the photograph was taken, respectively; displaying the digital still photograph; and altering an ambient characteristic based on at least one of the time and location stamps.
Abstract:
Systems, methods and computer-readable storage media for allocating content elements addressed for a content opportunity in a transport stream within a household-addressable media network. A content opportunity may include an advertising slot in a programming stream. The content elements may include advertising content configured to be run during the advertising slot. The advertising slot may be transmitted in a programming stream providing television programming and the advertising content may be provided in a commercial feed. The media network may be configured to transmit various content formats, such as high definition (HD), standard definition (SD), and variations thereof. Systems may be configured to allocate the highest profile corresponding content elements if there is sufficient resources available. If sufficient resources are not available, the system may allocate lower profile versions of the content elements.
Abstract:
Embodiments include an apparatus, device, system, computer-program product, and method. In an embodiment, a device includes a user-accessible digital storage medium, and a storage medium manager module. The storage manager module includes a storage manager module operable to save a digital image in a form in the user-accessible digital storage medium, and then alter the form of the saved digital image if a condition is met.
Abstract:
A system and method for automatically determine whether an image captured by a digital camera should be stored in a raw format or a compressed format. After an image is captured by the digital camera, the digital camera checks certain sets of characteristics of the captured image to check the image quality. If the image quality falls within an acceptable range, then the digital camera saves the image in a compressed format. If the captured image does not fall within predetermined quality levels, then the captured image is save in raw format for later processing.
Abstract:
A camera system includes a camera main body and a camera head mounted to the camera main body. A main body CPU of the camera main body determines whether or not an image signal transmitted from the mounted camera head can be processed by a signal conversion processing section of the camera main body based on ID information and signal conversion processing information downloaded from the camera head upon mounting the camera head. When it is determined that the signal cannot be processed by the signal conversion processing section by the main body CPU, the camera main body sets a RAW data recording mode for recording RAW data on a recording medium by adding a part of the signal conversion processing information of the camera head as data without performing signal processing in the signal conversion processing section.
