Abstract: PURPOSE: A mobile phone system having a voice synthesis function and a controlling method thereof are provided to decide whether a function related to a sound source insertion is set when a call is connected, and to insert a sound source into call information according to the set function, thereby making a conversational atmosphere on the phone better. CONSTITUTION: An antenna(20) wirelessly receives a predetermined signal. A keyboard unit(50) consists of a function key unit(51) for selecting a menu and a number key unit(52) for receiving a number. Abstract: PURPOSE: A call connection sound service method applying a caller ID is provided to allow a mobile phone subscriber to set different call connection tones by users. CONSTITUTION: When a caller's mobile phone(100) inputs a number of a destination mobile phone(120) and makes a phone call, a corresponding signal reaches a base station controller(140) through a base station(130). When the signal reaches a mobile exchange(150), the mobile exchange checks a caller ID and a call connection tone file according to a caller group which has been previously set in a server according to caller IDs, and reproduces the call connection tone file so that the caller can listen to the call connection tone through the mobile phone(100). The caller ID is transmitted to the destination mobile phone(120) and the destination mobile phone is ringing.
