A digital camera (1) has a CPU (30) and an image processing apparaatus (25). The image processing apparatus (25) acquires a contour from an image acquired by shooting a whiteboard (2) as a shooting target by using a Roberts filter. The image processing apparatus (25) detects straight lines to be candidates which form the image of the whiteboard (2) from the acquired contour, and acquires the rectangular shape of the whiteboard (2). The image processing apparatus (25) acquires projection parameters indicating the relationship between the image of the whiteboard (2) and the real whiteboard (2) from vertex positions of the quadrangle, and performs projection transformation of the image of the whiteboard (2).

An electronic still camera has first and second gain controller circuits and a gain storage memory. The gain storage memory includes a first gain table for storing gains for an R amplifier and a B amplifier of the first gain controller circuit; and a second gain table for storing gains for an R amplifier and a B amplifier of the second gain controller circuit, during auto white balance control using light emission of a strobe. The gains of the second gain table are sequentially set to the second gain controller circuit to carry out white detection. Based on a result of the detection, a gain to be set to the first gain controller circuit is selected from the first gain table, and the selected gain is set to the first gain controller circuit.

A display device of the invention relates to a display device capable of three-dimensionally representing display on a liquid crystal display element without a hologram. The display device includes a liquid crystal display element and a lens panel. The liquid crystal display element includes a plurality of transparent electrodes on opposed surfaces of a pair of transparent substrates between which a liquid crystal is provided. The lens panel is disposed on the bottom surface side of the liquid crystal display element, and has a plurality of lens portions. The respective lens portions are disposed in regions where the transparent electrodes correspond to each other, and formed in the same shape as that of the respective regions. When displaying information, e.g., a number and a character, on the liquid crystal display element, the information itself can be represented three-dimensionally through the lens portions. Thus, highly decorative display can be obtained.

A graphic display control device easily changes a display of a graph or graphic by operating an area where a graph or graphic is generally displayed. When a CPU detects trace execution inputting, the CPU displays a trace pointer on a graph, and simultaneously displays coordinates at which the trace pointer is positioned. Further, when the CPU detects an operation of a graph controller by an input pen, the CPU adds a predetermined value to an x-coordinate value of the trace pointer to perform tracing of the graph.

A watch of the communications apparatus is worn on a user's wrist by bands. A support member pivoted on the band is then turned so as to extend in the transverse direction of the bands. A speaker unit is provided on the support member so as to face in a transverse direction of the band while a microphone unit is disposed on the support member so as to face in a direction perpendicular to a surface of the band. When a user communicates with the other party, the speaker unit provided on the support member is directed toward the user's ear. This causes the microphone unit provided on the support member to be directed easily toward the user's mouth. Alternatively a hinged lid is provided the lid carrying a key-in unit or a display and a speaker unit.
