An ozone generator comprising a number of steel components, including hollow cathode tubes, tubesheets, and a shell, wherein the hollow cathode tubes are disposed between two oppositely disposed tubesheets, wherein each hollow cathode tube delimits an inner space through which gas my flow, wherein the hollow cathode tubes delimit a shell space that may be subiected to coolant, and wherein the steel components are made, at least in part, of a steel having a nickel content of less than 10% by weight and/or a molybdenum content of less than 2% by weight. A cooling unit is Provided for cooling and includes an evaporator, compressor and condenser, wherein the evaporator is incorporated directly into the shell of the ozone separator

A biocompatible material, wherein at least a part of a surface of the biocompatible material is characterized by a micro or nano-meter scale topographical structure comprising a plurality of features where the structure is selected to promote the growth of undifferentiated pluripotent stem cells or serve to promote the uniform differentiated growth of stem cells. Furthermore, a biocompatible material is provided having a surface structure and composition that affects a cellular function, in particular cellular functions related to gene induction, cell differentiation and the formation of bone tissue in vivo and ex-vivo.

A UV disinfection system for waste water and drinking water, including a number of UV radiators arranged in cladding tubes and a cleaning device for the cladding tubes. The cladding tubes are configured essentially symmetrically to a longitudinal axis. The cleaning device for the cladding tubes includes (a) at least one cleaning ring for each cladding tube, which surround the cladding tube, (b) at least one drive for driving the cleaning ring in the direction of the axis, wherein the at least one cleaning ring is disposed at a distance (d) from the surface of the cladding tube, (c) openings directed in the cleaning ring towards the cladding tube, and (d) a supply of pressurised liquid under high pressure into the openings so that the pressurised liquid is directed as a cleaning jet onto the surface of the cladding tube.

Modern drying units for gypsum plaster board have a feed device, comprising several roller feed units (1) arranged in levels one above the other. The drying section is generally divided into several zones (3 to 7), in particular three longitudinally ventilated zones (4 to 6), being two high temperature zones (4, 5) and a subsequent low temperature zone (6). Due to the high production capacity of the upline production plant and the necessarily long residence time, drying units are very long. According to the invention, black boards (19) are arranged above and below the individual roller feed units (1) in the high temperature zones (4, 5), which extend across the width of the roller feed units (1). The boards (19) are heated exclusively by means of the flowing drying air to an elevated temperature, and transmit additional heat to the through-flowing gypsum plaster board (16) by radiation. It is possible to reduce the length of the drying unit due to the increased heat transfer coefficient.

A line magazine for a supply line on a semimounted trailer with a king pin and a wedge connector pivoted on the king pin is described. The underlying problem of the invention was to provide a line magazine which prevents the supply line from hanging down in a mechanically simple way, while on the other hand it provides a constant pretensioning of the supply line. The problem is solved according to the invention with a line magazine that comprises a housing and a drum disk mounted in the housing and able to rotate, while the drum disk is preloaded by a spring element and the supply line engages by its front segment of line with the wedge connector and is led out from the housing by its rear segment of line in fixed manner.
