Abstract:
The present invention refers to a blast-resistant bulletproof window (1) and a corresponding appartus, in particular for use in a motor vehicle, which comprises a ballistic block (11) having a peripheral edge (11.1) and a plurality of panes of glass (4, 6, 8), ceramic or plastic material (10, 15) bonded to each other over their surfaces in a layered composite, and interposed bonding interlayers (5, 7, 9, 14) of plastic material or adhesive, wherein at least one edge groove (12) with particularly rectangular cross section is provided on and along at least a part of the peripheral edge (11.1), and an edge recess (13) is provided on an inside surface (11.2) of the ballistic block (11) or window (1) on and along at least a part of the peripheral edge (11.1) of the window (1).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composite glass tube (1) and a corresponding manufacturing method which comprises a glass tube (2) and an anti-shatter layer construction provided on an inside surface of the glass tube (2) for restraining glass parts and splinters in case of breakage of the glass tube (2), wherein the anti-shatter layer construction comprises at least one supporting anti-shatter foil (4) or layer and at least one adhesive anti-shatter foil (3) or layer deposited or laminated on the inside surface (2.1) of the glass tube (2) wherein the supporting anti-shatter foil (4) or layer is arranged on an inside surface (3.1) of the adhesive anti-shatter foil (3) or layer.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a glass cover, particularly a glass cover used in a vehicle roof, which comprises a glass pane, anti-shatter layer means arranged on an underside of the glass pane, and an encapsulation formed on an edge region of the glass pane wherein the anti-shatter layer means covers the whole underside of the glass pane and extends into the encapsulation.

Abstract:
The present invention refers to a pane construction, particularly to be used in a motor vehicle, comprising transparent panes (4, 6), layers (2, 3, 5, 7, 8) and/or foils made of glass, ceramic, plastic or organic material, which are connected in a layered manner in a laminate, wherein the pane construction has transparent infrared (= IR) filtering layer means (2) or a IR filtering foil for filtering of infrared (IR) radiation of the sunlight impinging the pane construction (1).
Abstract:
A claw-pole motor for driving a centrifugal pump; consisting of stator laminations in the form of annular discs with claw poles adjoining said stator laminations, which claw poles are arranged opposite permanent-magnet poles of a rotor, a ring-shaped winding and an insulating body, which is arranged between the stator laminations and the winding, and a magnetic return path ring, which is arranged radially around the winding and the stator laminations and bears fixedly against the stator laminations. The claw pole is achieved by the magnetic return path ring comprising at least two lamination rings, which are nested coaxially one inside the other and each have at least one cutout, and being the cutouts are offset with respect to one another through an angle such that said cutouts do not overlap one another, wherein the two cutouts define two angular ranges alpha1, alpha2, the lamination rings are connected fixedly to one another at a first connection point, which is removed from the cutouts, in the angular range alpha1 and likewise at another second connection point, which is removed from the cutouts, in the angular range alpha2.
Abstract:
A radiant glazing unit (10), of the type that comprises two glass panes (20, 21), between which a heating means is interposed, a multilayer assembly (22) being arranged between said two glass panes and being composed of a sheet of clear plastics (24) that supports a sandwich (25), which in turn is composed of two outer films made of semiconducting material that contain a central layer of electrically conducting metallic material of variable thickness, which constitutes a large electrical resistor; a sheet (26) made of a material that reflects infrared radiation, layers for connecting and monolithically coupling the various components of the assembly, and means for the controlled supply of electric power to the layer of metallic material being further provided.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an electrochromic device defined by one or more cells containing a new electrochromic composition characterized by being in the form of a solid film; which new electrochromic composition provides for eliminating gravitational segregation, anode-cathode segregation and nonuniform fading time, and may be used for producing electrochromic devices of various shapes and sizes.
