Abstract:
Method and apparatus for pneumatically conveying granular resin material and controlling such conveyance includes a sensor associated with granular plastic resin material receiver with the sensing vacuum level thereat and a microprocessor adjusting vacuum pump speed based on vacuum level sensed at the receiver.
Abstract:
A vacuum pump with a first flow regulator connected to the suction head of the vacuum pump for conveying granular resin material from a supply to receivers retaining and dispensing the resin when needed by a process machine and a second flow regulator controlling and limiting to a maximum value vacuum flow through a conduit carrying auxiliary additives to the receivers.
Abstract:
Apparatus has a vacuum pump for conveying granular plastic resin material from a supply to receivers retaining and dispensing resin when needed by a process machine with a flow limiter connected to the suction head of the vacuum pump, with the vacuum pump being a controlled, variable speed device.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a novel use of bamboo on the promotion of bone length growth. More specifically, it is directed to a pharmaceutical composition, a food composition and/or an animal feed composition for promoting bone growth, comprising a bamboo as an effective ingredient. Further, it is also directed to a method for promoting bone growth, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of a bamboo. Since the composition of the present invention comprising bamboo as an effective ingredient is effective for promoting the growth of the growth plates and the long bones, it is effective for promoting the growth and the formation of skeletal frame in infants, children and teenagers during their growth period. In addition, the composition of the present invention is effective for the treatment of height growth solely or in combination with growth hormone therapies.
Abstract:
Method for producing a label having at least one identifier and at least one authenticator printed on a printable medium. A unique identifier is generated by a centralized system or a printing device, and the unique identifier is printed on the printable medium incorporating the authenticator. The unique identifier is generated without relation to a product. The method is implemented with a system including one or more printing devices, one or more recording devices and one or more activation devices communicating with the centralized system.

Abstract:

Abstract:
It was hitherto common to perform the draining of storage containers in solar arrays by means of immersion pumps, which protrude into the storage container through the cover of the storage container and reach at least approximately to the bottom of the storage container by means of the pump base. Such immersion pumps having long pump lances are very expensive. The invention proposes to henceforth provide a bottom drain on the storage tanks in place of this hitherto common draining, which bottom drain simplifies the draining with regard to the need for expensive immersion pumps. Furthermore, within the scope of the invention, a separate removal container can be provided, into which the storage tanks can be drained through the bottom drains by means of gravity, and into which, in turn, immersion pumps can now be inserted, wherein ideally only a single pump is needed for a plurality of tanks. In addition, shorter, more economical pumps can be resorted to because of a smaller height of the removal container. A further advantage is that the costs can be reduced by means of a such an arrangement in that a smaller total storage volume is necessary and in that smaller modular tanks are used, which also reduces the planning costs and the technical risk.
