Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timekeeper at least partly modifying drawbacks of conventional timers. SOLUTION: The timekeeper is provided with a first timer (4), a means (12) for selectively connecting this to a train of the timekeeper (T), a second timer (5), a synchronization coupling between the first timer (4) and the second timer (5), and a fly-back means (13, 13', 9, 11) of the timers (4, 5). An auxiliary power source (10') is in drive relation with the second timer (5). Unidirectional couplings (6a, 7a) are positioned between the first timer (4) and the second timer (5), regulate the moving speed of the second timer (5) at a prescribed ratio to the moving speed of the first timer (4), permit the unidirectional relative movement of the first timer (4) to the second timer (5), when the second timer (5) is in a stop position, and permit the unidirectional relative movement of the second timer (5) in the opposite direction, when the first timer (4) is at a stop position. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fold-over clasp for a bracelet that is very user-friendly to operate.SOLUTION: A bracelet clasp comprises first and second movable blades (10, 20) pivoted about a central blade (3), that can occupy a first closed position suitable for holding a bracelet around the wrist of its wearer and a second open position suitable for removing the bracelet from the hand of its wearer, wherein the two movable blades (10, 20) comprise at least one element for interaction between them which acts on the second movable blade when the first movable blade is actuated, in the closing and/or opening phase of the clasp.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Swiss lever escapement that improves an efficiency compared with a solution recommended in the prior art. SOLUTION: The Swiss lever escapement includes an escapement wheel having teeth, and a lever having an inlet pallet and an outlet pallet alternately engaging with the teeth of the escapement wheel on one side and having a fork cyclically engaging with a shock pin on a roller attached, at the center of a balance wheel on a governor on the other side. The relative width Lpl of each pallet is expressed in percentage with respect to a total sum of the length of one arc in the teeth which is to be measured in the circumference of the escapement wheel and the length of one arc in the pallets. (Equation 1), where Ls and Le indicate the arc length of the outlet pallet and the inlet pallet, respectively, and d indicates the arc length of one tooth on the escapement wheel. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hairspring for a balance wheel/hairspring vibrator. SOLUTION: A flat hairspring includes two blades 1a and 1b that are wound in the same direction but have deviation of 2π/2, namely 180°. The inner end of each of the blades 1a and 1b is fixed to a bush 2, and the outer end thereof is fixed to a fixing ring 3. The outer ends are deviated by an angle of 180°. The fixing ring 3 to which the outer ends of the blades 1a and 1b are fixed has an opening 3a for fixing it to the balance wheel receiver. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defective compensating gear assembly for a clocking mechanism. SOLUTION: In the defective compensating gear assembly for the clocking mechanism, at least some uniformly distributed teeth of at least one meshing operation section with a single tooth has a region deformable elastically in the thickness directions of them. The meshing teeth of the operation sections have at least two simultaneous contact points, and the total value of nominal thickness (e sj , e 2 ) of the contact teeth of the meshing operation sections, that is measured along the pitch circle (C 1 , C 2 ) of these meshing operation sections, is a synthetic dimension larger than the pitch (p) of these operation sections with the tooth. The thickness in the elastically deformable region extends to either sides of the logical shape of the tooth. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock-absorbing bearing for a timepiece having a shock-absorbing spring easy to be assembled and disassembled. SOLUTION: This shock-absorbing bearing includes a bearing block 1, a pierced jewel, an endstone 4, and the shock-absorbing spring 5 connected to the bearing block 1 by four connection arms 5a1, 5a2, 5a3, 5a4 in parallel to a plane including a revolving shaft X of the bearing, and for forming two suspension elements 5a1, 5c1, 5a2 and 5a3, 5c2, 5a4. Each of the suspension elements has the two connection arms connected mutually by branch parts in the form of an arc 5c1, 5c2 having the center on the revolving shaft X, and has a radius larger than a radius of the endstone 4, and the suspension elements are connected each other by two diameteric arms 5e arranged in both sides of a center support element 5d. Outer end parts of the diameteric arms 5e are connected to the two connection arms 5a2, 5a4 belonging respectively to the suspension elements 5a1, 5c1, 5a2 and 5a3, 5c2, 5a4.
