Acetaldehyde acetal unit containing polyacetals, and mixtures of such polyacetals with fillers, are used for producing compostable shaped bodies, as coatings and as adhesives. Also disclosed are diapers whose outer layer is made of acetaldehyde acetal unit containing polyacetals shaped as a compostable sheet or coating.
Abstract:
Polyasparaginic acid and condensates of asparaginic acid containing up to 40 % by moles of other condensed aminoacids, as well as the alkaline and ammonium salts of said polyasparaginic acids, are used in chain lubricants for conveyor belts of bottle filling and washing installations. Also disclosed are chain lubricants based on mixtures of water, soap, surfactants, fatty acid, alkanolamines and 1 to 30 % by weight polyasparaginic acid, condensates of asparaginic acid containing up to 40 % by moles of other condensed aminoacids, and/or alkaline and ammonium salts of the polyasparaginic acids useful for conveyor belts of bottle filling and washing installations.
Abstract:
Block copolyacetals are produced by the cationically initiated polyaddition of (A) acetaldehyde acetal units-containing polyacetals with at least 2 OH groups per molecule; and (B) acetaldehyde acetal units-containing polyacetals with at least 2 vinylether groups per molecule with a molar ratio (A):(B) from 2:1 to 1:2. Also disclosed is a process for producing these block copolyacetals by cationically initiated polyaddition of (A) and (B), as well as the use of these block polyacetals as additives for phosphate-poor and phosphate-free washing and cleaning agents, and as weakly foaming surfactants in dishwashing detergents.
