Abstract: A capsule composition for a cosmetic is provided to show excellent feeling of use such as application property, to cause no skin irritation and remain capsule film remnants when applied to skin, and have excellent shape stability by differing a wall material of the capsule inside and the outer wall and encapsulating liposomed active ingredients in a membrane of the capsule, thereby being prepared into a capsule with various colors and sizes. A capsule composition for a cosmetic comprises: 3.0-10 wt.% of polyhydric alcohol; 1.0-1.8 wt.% of carageenan; 0.3-0.89 wt.% of agar; and 0.1-0.5 wt.% of sodium alginate. A method for preparing a capsule for cosmetic comprises the steps of: (a) passing an aqueous solution where agar, carageenan and sodium alginate are mixed through a cooled liquid paraffin layer at a temperature of 3-5 deg.C to form a first capsule using a characteristic of the aqueous solution being hardened by being cooled; and (b) adding the prepared capsule to an aqueous solution of calcium chloride to form a second capsule film by the generation of calcium alginate.
