Abstract: PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of barium titanate powder for low temperature calcinations and a barium titanate powder manufactured by using the method are provided to enable low temperature calcinations of the barium titanate powder, thereby obtaining crystalline of the powder. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of barium titanate powder for low temperature calcinations comprises next steps: preparing a first slurry by mixing barium carbonate(BaCO3) and titanium oxide(TiO2)(S1); preparing a second slurry by mixing ammonium bicarbonate(NH4HCO3) solution with the first slurry(S2); drying and incinerating the second slurry(S3); manufacturing barium titanate powder. In titanium oxide(TiO2) and barium carbonate(BaCO3) mixing step, a molar ratio(barium / titanium) of the titanium to barium is 0.997-1.000. An addition amount of the ammonium bicarbonate is 0.1-10 wt%. The specific surface area of the barium carbonate is 5-20m/g and a specific surface area of the titanium oxide is 5-20m/g.
