Abstract: PURPOSE: A motion adaptive high dynamic range image obtaining apparatus and a method thereof are provided to drastically increase picture quality. CONSTITUTION: An image obtaining apparatus(100) comprises an image analyzing unit(101), a correcting unit(102), an image combining unit(103), and a single image selecting unit(104). The first correcting unit corrects global motion of the second image. The second correcting unit corrects local motion of the second image. The image combining unit receives an output image of the first and second correcting units.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for processing an image based on a region of interest and a method thereof are provided to generate an image including plural tonal distributions from a high dynamic range image. CONSTITUTION: An interest region setting unit(110) sets up at least one interest regions for an inputted image, and a dynamic range processing unit(120) analyzes a dynamic range for each interest region of the image. Based on the dynamic range of a display device to which an image is outputted and the dynamic range for the analyzed interest region, the dynamic range processing unit processes the dynamic range of the image adaptively. The interest region setup unit splits the inputted image into at least segment.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus and a method thereof for preventing blurring in image are provided to generate HDR(High Dynamic Range) image obtained by single exposure by using CFA(Color Filter Array). An image forming apparatus(100) comprises an optical part(110), a filter part(120) and an image generator(130). The filter part comprises a narrow-band filter domain(124) passing through the wavelength band of the predetermined color among the optical signal which is inserted the wide-band filter domain(122) passing the complementary color wavelength band toward the wavelength of the predetermined color through among the optical signal and a full band filter zone(126) passing through all wavelength bands of the optical signal. The image generator processes the optical signal passing through the filter part and generates the image. The image generator generates the image by differentiating weighted value of the optical signal.

Abstract: An image enhancement method and an adaptive exposure setting method using the same are provided to process an image adaptively according to a kind of an input image, and improve quality of an image having high proportionality of samples belonging to low brightness and high brightness areas. Abstract: A color conversion apparatus and a method thereof are provided to predict a video signal in accordance with various luminance environments and be applied to various application fields such as an input of a multi-primary display. An image input part(110) receives an image. A reflectance estimation part(130) estimates a spectral reflectance of the image by one or more wavelength intervals. A reflectance synthesis part(140) synthesizes the estimated one or more spectral reflectances into one spectral reflectance. A color conversion part(150) converts a color of the image by applying the synthesized spectral reflectance. The reflectance estimation part applies a predetermined matrix preliminarily written by the wavelength intervals to the image in order to estimate one or more spectral reflectances.
