Abstract: The Micom (60) senses the disk sensor (5), and controls the driving part of the above-mentioned pick-up (70) at the position of the CD sensor and then moves it to place on outer side. The above- mentioned comparative means (40) generates "High" signal when the above mentioned pick-up fails to switch to the position (6) and then runs in data point between C and B. The buffer (50) shapes and inverts the output of the comparative means (40), and matches an impedance, and then delivers it to the Micom (60). Until the output of the buffer (50) is low, the Micom (60) moves controlling pick-up drive to place on the outer side; using only usual tilt sensor, compare its output with a standard value and recognize what disk is CD or LD according to that.
