Abstract:
PURPOSE: A display system using a hybrid user tracking sensor and a method thereof are provided to accurately measure a location of a user using cameras and sensors. CONSTITUTION: A location information providing unit(510) provides location information of a user's face or both eyes which is generated using information received from cameras. A posture information providing unit(520) provides generated posture information using information received from sensors. A final location determining unit(530) determines the final location of the user based on at least one of the location information and the posture information. The sensors include an acceleration sensor and an earth magnetism sensor.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A high density multi-view display system and a method thereof are provided to embody a high quality 3D image through an active sub-pixel rendering. CONSTITUTION: A location sensing unit(1410) senses the location of right and left eyes of a user. A viewing location confirmation unit(1420) confirms whether a user exists in an optimal location based on the sensed location information. A visual point calculation unit(1430) calculates a visual point coping with the sensed location. A rendering unit(1440) creates an image based on the calculated visual point in a sub pixel section. A display unit(1450) displays the generated visual point image.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A display device and a method thereof are provided to prevent the degradation of brightness occurring at an existing multi-view image display apparatus by directly applying the light having directivity to a pixel display unit. CONSTITUTION: A pixel display unit(111) displays at least one pixel which constitutes an input image, and a backlight unit(112) generates plural directivity lights based on the number of multi-view images. The backlight unit applies the plural directivity lights to the pixel display unit, and a light source unit irradiates light.

A mobile communication terminal having a fake call receiving function and a method for processing the fake call receiving function are provided to display a caller identification and store a call history as if a call is received, thereby allowing a user to avoid a difficult situation. A fake call receiving operation is performed corresponding to a set incoming mode if a key is input in order to make a fake call(S4). A set termination mode is set as a mute mode if the fake call receiving operation is performed(S6). The fake call receiving operation is stopped if the first key is input in a state in which the fake call receiving operation is performed(S8). The fake call receiving operation is temporarily stopped and performed after a predetermined time interval if the second key is input in the state in which the fake call receiving operation is performed.

A method and apparatus save power in a multimode wireless terminal having plural communication modems for supporting different communication systems. The multimode wireless terminal performs its basic functions of reception and transmission, while only one of the communication modems is turned on and the others are turned off so as to reduce power consumption. This results in extension of the utilization time of the multimode wireless terminal.

PURPOSE: An MAC method of a CSMA(Carrier Sense Multiple Access)/CA(Collision Avoidance)-based wireless LAN system and a terminal which performs the MAC method are provided to transmit data by an exchange procedure of a contention-based request signal and a contention-based acknowledgement signal during bidirectional communication between two terminals, thereby reducing a medium access delay. CONSTITUTION: A random terminal trying to transceive data transmits a request signal frame to another terminal or an AP through a medium occupied by a transmission contention with the use of a CSMA/CA algorithm using a DIFS(DCF Inter Frame Space) as an IFS(Inter Frame Space). The terminal or the AP receiving the request signal frame sends an acknowledgement signal frame to the random terminal through a medium occupied by using an SIFS(Short IFS) as an IFS.
