PURPOSE: A wireless power supply device and a control method thereof locate multiple terminals and independently control each terminal by wireless power supply. The signal transceiver receives a charge state message indicating the charge state of a terminal from at least one terminal. PURPOSE: A device and a method for measuring a position by using a global positioning system and a visible light communication are provided to measure a position in a dead zone by using a visible light communication when the position is measured by using a global positioning system signal even if mobile communications or wireless internet communications are not available. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal comprises a GPS receiver (102), a GPS position calculation unit (106), a visible light communication device position calculation unit (116), and a control unit. The GPS receiver receives a GPS signal. The GPS position calculation unit measures a first position by using the GPS signal. A visible light signal transceiver transmits or receives a visible light signal. The visible light communication device position calculation unit calculates a position of a visible light communication device by using visible light communication device position information through the visible light signal transceiver. The position calculation unit calculates a third position by using a position of the visible light communication device and a second position in which is the previous position of the first position when the first position exceeds a predetermined error range. The control unit calculates the third position by activating a visible light communication mode and controlling the position calculation unit as the first position exceeds the predetermined error range. PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for improving brightness in visible light communication using an LED(Light Emitting Diode) are provided to improve a brightness function and have the performance having excellent bit error rate. CONSTITUTION: A channel coding unit(510) generates an input signal of n bits to which K bits generated from a bit adder is added into the codewords of p bits. The codewords of the p bits are generated for the same input signal received from the input unit. A bit selector selects one from the codewords of p bits generated for the same input signal through the channel coding unit. PURPOSE: A line coding apparatus and a method for transmitting data in a visible light communication system are provided to reduce errors caused by the synchronization of continuous input bit 0. CONSTITUTION: A data input unit(210) is a transmission data input unit. According to a present bit level, an encoding unit(220) encodes a clock signal and a data signal of the data input unit. If the continuous 5 input bits 0 in the encoding operation, the encoding unit performs an encoding operation in an encoding mode which transits the initial and last bits as much as half bit. A transmission unit(230) transfers an encoded signal of the encoding unit as a visible light.

PURPOSE: A communication link arranging method using a retroreflector in visible light communication and a device for the same are provided to perform bi-directional communication arrangement only with one directional visible light transmission when visible light communication using the retroreflector. CONSTITUTION: A visible light transmission unit(120) outputs a communication setup signal for communication direction setup and a data transmission signal in the form of visible light. A navigation system and a method using the visible light communications are provided to measure the exact location of the mobile terminal by assembling the light of the different wavelength band based on the color diagram. A transmitter equipped a lamp emits the visible light signal combined to the different wavelengths. The visible light signal comprises the information for providing the function of navigation. The mobile terminal receives the visible light signal from a plurality of lamps(412). The location information of the current position of the mobile terminal is obtained by using a visible light signal(418). The navigation information is displayed in a mobile terminal(421). The navigation information comprises the information matching the location information with the map information.

A data communication method using a two dimensional frame number in a wavelength division parallel visible light communication system and a device thereof are provided to assign a new frame number, thereby realizing visual light communication when transmitting a visual light communication signal. A frame divider(810) divides and outputs data into data frames. A frame number generator(812) assigns serial numbers to sub frames in the divided frame. A wavelength number generator(811) assigns ID numbers to different wavelengths. A two dimensional number combiner(814) produces corresponding ID numbers of each wavelength and a two dimensional frame number in which the sub frame numbers are combined.
