Abstract:
Provided is a head-mount display device having a structure freely detachable at a front side such that a relatively heavy battery and a circuit unit are disposed on the rear side of a user′s head so as to be movable when worn. The head-mount display device comprises a signal receiving unit receiving a video signal from a video providing device; a display unit outputting video of the received video signal; a battery unit supplying operational power to the display unit; and a support unit supporting the signal receiving unit, the display unit, and the battery unit such that the user can wear the head-mount display device, wherein when the head-mount display device is worn, at least one of the signal receiving unit and the battery unit is positioned on the rear side of the user′s head. Accordingly, since the weight of the head-mount display device is distributed to the rear side, reducing the weight the user may feel on his or her face, and even though the user wears the head-mount display device for a long period of time, he or she may view video without discomfort. In addition, the head-mount display device can be freely, easily worn on and detached in any direction by separating the front thereof.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a display device and a method for controlling the same. According to the present invention, when a detection sensor in a uniquely activated state detects an object, a central processing device and a camera are activated and whether to use a display device of a user is determined by using subject image information so as to reduce booting time by driving the display device in advance and perform a security function.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a display apparatus controlled through a remote controller and interworking with a glass device. The display apparatus comprises a display unit alternately displaying a plurality of content views, a communication unit performing communications with the glass device to transmit a synchronization signal corresponding to one of the content views, a control command receiving unit receiving a control command for controlling an operating state of each of the content views from the remote controller, and a controller displaying a user interface (UI) including information related to a control command at a display timing of a content view when a control command for controlling an operating state of a content view other than the content view synchronized with the glass device is received.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A display device which displays a plurality of content views, a pair of glasses which is synchronized with one of the content views and methods thereof are provided to transmit information about a target content view which is controllable by a remote control signal to the new glasses when new glasses and the display device are connected, thereby improving user convenience. CONSTITUTION: If a display device runs in a multi view mode, a video processing unit (150) processes a plurality of contents and generates a plurality of content views. A display unit (160) displays the contents views. A synchronization signal generating unit (130) generates a synchronization signal about the content views. A communication unit (140) transmits the synchronization signal. When communication with glasses is connected, a control unit (120) transmits information about a target content view which is controllable by a remote control signal among the content views to the glasses. Abstract:
PURPOSE: A multi-view device, a control method thereof, a display device, a control method thereof, and a display system thereof are provided to reduce the power consumption of a battery by activating or inactivating a communication unit of glasses according to a transmission time cycle of a beacon packet. CONSTITUTION: Three-dimensional glasses are paired with a display device(S100). The three-dimensional glasses determine a reception rate of a beacon signal received from the display device(S120). The three-dimensional glasses change a reception frequency of the beacon signal in response to the reception rate(S130). The three-dimensional glasses receive the beacon signal with the changed reception frequency(S140). The three-dimensional glasses operate a lens unit according to the received beacon signal(S150). [Reference numerals] (AA) Start; (BB) End; (S100) Pair a display device; (S110) Start the reception of a beacon signal; (S120) Verify the reception rate of the beacon signal during a preset time; (S130) Change the reception frequency of the beacon signal corresponding to the verified reception rate; (S140) Receive the beacon signal with the changed reception frequency; (S150) Operate a lens part according to the received beacon signal
