    Abstract: PURPOSE: A display device and a driving method thereof are provided to indicate an image by selecting a unit pixel according to time-out. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit(300) creates light and irradiates the light. A display panel(100) comprises a plurality of unit pixels. The display panel indicates a first image by using the light which is irradiated from the backlight unit. A panel driving unit(200) establishes a unit pixel group which is different with total pixel amounts of the first image. The panel driving unit diversifies each pixel value of the first image and applies to the unit pixel. The panel driving unit differently selects the unit pixel among the unit pixel groups according to time-out and drives the unit pixel. One unit pixel group comprises a first sub group and a second sub group.
