    Abstract: 본 발명은 영상의 인트라 예측 부호화, 복호화 방법 및 장치에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 따른 영상의 인트라 예측 부호화 방법은 현재 블록으로부터 x축 방향으로 N 픽셀, y축 방향으로 M 픽셀만큼 이동한 위치에 있는 참조 블록의 인트라 예측 방향에 기초하여 현재 블록의 인트라 예측 방향을 예측하고, 실제 현재 블록의 인트라 예측 방향 및 예측된 인트라 예측 방향에 기초하여 상기 현재 블록을 인트라 예측 부호화함으로써, 인트라 예측 방향을 보다 정확하게 예측할 수 있어 영상 데이터의 압축률이 향상된다.
