본 발명의 3차원 영상의 시청 피로도 감소 방법은, 수신된 3차원 영상의 적어도 하나 이상의 프레임을 포함하는 프레임 구간에 대한 저피로도 파라미터 정보를 획득하고, 3차원 영상의 각각의 프레임에 대한 변이 벡터 정보를 획득하여, 3차원 영상에 대한 변이의 최소 한계치 및 최대 한계치인 변이 한계치를 결정하고, 결정된 변이 한계치와 획득된 변이 벡터 정보를 비교하여, 3차원 영상의 변이를 조절함으로써 3차원 영상을 시청할 때 발생하는 피로도를 효율적으로 감소할 수 있다. 3차원 영상, 시청 피로도, 변이 추정, 변이 조절

PURPOSE: A 3D image data stream generating/receiving device which additional information for reproducing 3D image is inserted and a device thereof are provided to insert a 3D image reproduction information in an EIT(Event Information Table) and smoothly reproduce the 3D image. CONSTITUTION: A basic stream packet generating unit(120) generates at least one PES(Packetized Elementary Stream) packets. A section generating unit(130) generates at least one sections about information related to a program of a 3D image. A 3D image reproducing information insertion unit(140) inserts 3D image reproduction information in a program guide information section among at least one section. A TS(Transport Stream) packet generating unit(150) generates at least one TS packet. A TS generating unit(160) generates the transport stream.

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for transmitting compressed data using a digital data interface and a method and apparatus for receiving the same are provided to maximize communication efficiency by selecting and transmitting the data reproduced by a sync device in a source device. CONSTITUTION: A display-related information generator(210) generates display-related information into which the reproduction capacity of a sync device is inserted, and a compression data reproduction capability information inserter(220) inserts the compression data reproduction capability information into the display-related information. The display-related information has a data structure which can be transmitted and received through a digital data interface.

PURPOSE: A three-dimensional image method, a reproducing method, an apparatus thereof, and a recording medium including a program map table extracting unit are provided to supply three dimensional image contents and insert additional information about three dimensional image contents. CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional image method for providing contents is as follows. An image contents is inserted in a preliminary region of a program map table showing contents type information(502). The additional information about three dimensional image contents is inserted in one of the preliminary region which is included tin the video sequence of basic stream(504). The transport stream is produced the elementary steam of the program map table and three-dimensional image contents is multiplexed.

A time point determining method of stereoscopic image for stereo synchronization and a device thereof for reproducing stereoscopic image are provided to determine the time point by using time difference between stereoscopic images without additional hardware channel. An image selector(210) selects a pair of standards viewpoint images, a pair of first images and the second image from the stereoscopic image. A time point determiner(220) determines the first image with the standards viewpoint image and is one viewpoint image among the viewpoint images. The point of time decision unit determines the second image as the standards viewpoint image and part is the rest viewpoint image among the viewpoint image. The stereoscopic image is synchronized with by a stereo synchronizer(230) based on determined results.

A method and an apparatus for recording data, a method and an apparatus for reproducing data, and a recording medium are provided to record additional 3D reproduction information, thereby reproducing a 3D image by using an optical recording medium. At least one AV stream is received(S710). The AV stream provides plural associated video signals. Three dimensional reproduction supplementary information to be used when reproducing a 3D image by using the plural associated video signals is generated(S720). At least one AV stream and the three dimensional reproduction supplementary information are recorded in a recording medium(S730). The three dimensional reproduction supplementary information includes at least one of reproduction mode information, multiple format information, image depth information, and photographing information of the image signal.

A method and an apparatus for reducing fatigue when watching a three dimensional image, and a method and an apparatus for generating a low-fatigue three dimensional image data stream are provided to measure a limitation value of a variable generating fatigue when watching a three dimensional image in order to reduce fatigue. A low fatigue degree parameter information obtaining unit outputs low fatigue degree parameter information to a variable information obtaining unit(120) and a variable limitation value determination unit(130). The variable vector information obtaining unit obtains variable vector information of a three dimensional image inputted from the low fatigue degree parameter information obtaining unit. The variable vector information obtaining unit outputs variable vector information to a variable adjusting unit(140). The variable vector information obtaining unit extracts variable vector information from a lower fatigue parameter. The variable vector information obtaining unit determines the minimum value of a variable and the maximum value of the variable with regard to a frame interval. A variable limit value determining unit receives lower fatigue parameter information from the low fatigue degree parameter information obtaining unit.

A method and an apparatus for producing video data stream including a parameter for reproducing local three-dimensional image video data stream including a parameter for reproducing local three-dimensional image are provided to extract various information about three dimensional image from video data stream. A receiver(210) receives video data stream including an image data duration of the two-dimensional video data duration and three-dimensional image data duration are received. A local 3D image parameter extracting unit(220) inputs video stream from the receiver. The local 3D image parameter which is parameter toward the image of each image data is extracted from the video data stream. The local 3D image parameter comprises image sequence information of standards viewpoint image. The local 3D image parameter is input to an image recovery unit(230) from the local 3D image parameter extracting unit. One of the two-dimensional image and three-dimensional image is restored by using the extracted parameter.

A method and an apparatus for reproducing stereoscopic image are provided to control depths of objects and allow a computer to read a program for executing the method. Information about parallax at a left-eye image and a right-eye image of objects included in stereoscopic image is generated in accordance with stereo camera parameters of stereoscopic image. A depth at the stereoscopic image of the objects is controlled on the basis of the generated information. The stereoscopic image is reproduced in accordance with the controlled depth.
