Abstract: The present invention presents a monitoring system and method for sleep apnea and sleep stages. The sleep monitoring system according to the embodiment of the present invention generates respiration data of a user using the bio radar and monitors the sleep apnea of the user. It monitors the sleep stage of the user from motion data generated from a motion detection sensor. Using the invention, the sleep stage can be monitored with the external electron angular and non- restriction with the sleep apnea of the user.
