The organic light-emitting device(100) includes a positive electrode, a cathode(110), and one or more of organic thin film layers(105) interposed between the anode and cathode. PURPOSE: A pyrrole compound is provided to be used as a host material, a hole transfer material or an electron barrier material and to ensure high electric charge transport, film stability and high triplet excitation energy. CONSTITUTION: A pyrrole compound for an organic photoelectric device has a structure represented by chemical formula 1. The pyrrole compound can be used as host materials or charge transport materials. The pyrrole compound has maximum luminous wavelength of 320-500 nm and triplet excitation energy(T1) of 2.0 eV or more. The organic photoelectric device comprises a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an organic thin film layer interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode.
