Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a method for manufacturing alcoholic beverage using the extract of green tea leaf, therefore the alcoholic beverage maintains green color, flavor, and taste of green tea and does not generate sediments for storage. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing alcoholic beverage using the extract green tea leaf is characterized by the next steps of: i) eliminating smell from alcohol with activated carbon and making over 70% alcohol; ii) adding 0.05-0.15wt% of antioxidant to the alcohol; iii) adding 0.5-5.0wt% of green tea leaves and obtaining extracts from the mixture for 2-5 hours at 5-40 deg.C; iv) adding 0.05-0.3wt% of polyvinyl polypyrrolidone to the extracted alcohol, mixing the mixture at 0-20 deg.C for 5-20 minutes, and filtering other suspended solids.
