Abstract: PURPOSE: A personalized augmented broadcasting apparatus and a method thereof are provided to transmit a direction to put an augmented program as well as personalized data in metadata while airing an augmented program and to output augmented content while the broadcasting program is aired through a receiving terminal which has obtains the augmented content related to the personalized data, thereby providing personalized data for a viewer.
