Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring the experiential quality of an image in a multimedia service and a method thereof are provided to measure the image quality of a multimedia service. CONSTITUTION: A network performance measurement system(101) measures a QoS quality parameter related to network performance. The network performance measurement system calculates a QoS value through the weighted value of the QoS quality parameter. The network performance measurement system calculates the experiential quality of the image when considering an image frame. The network performance measurement system analyzes degradation of the experiential quality of the image.
